The Station Restaurant & Bar

Restaurant and rooms were fantastic looking and cosy and warm, exactly what you want when travelling on business thropughout the cold winter - absolutely perfect

Clean, comfortable room

No breakfast before 11Stop serving dinner at 8

Travelling for business , ideal for short stays, with the restaurant attached, enables to have a decent meal and a drink , secure gate so no worries for parking the car overnight

No breakfast available, but really not an issue for me

Great hotel with a good atmosphere and friendly welcoming staff. Room was warm and clean.

A little cramped for 2 adults with the double bed pushed up against a wall.

The room was a decent size.

It wasn’t very clean, there was dust everywhere and it didn’t look like it had been hoovered.

A friendly welcome. Good value place to stay

Room 1 was a bit noisy / Room 6 was spot on!

Lovely spacious, warm room excellent shower, quiet and a really comfortable bed

Nothing, could not fault it

What a delightful place, yes you are close to a train track, but to be fair only heard the train in the morning. The staff, Food, facilities all amazing.I think i found myself a regular little stop over.

The restaurant was very good and the food Staff very friendly

We went down to the restaurant They had a special on the burgers it said any burger for £18 and a pint so we ordered the station burgers and a pint each. The lad that served us took the order no problem The lady said that is not in the offer jet did say any burger so we ordered something else so a bit confused.I phoned up early in the day to see if they had any rooms for the night and asked how much a room would be she said we have 2 rooms left and I said how much she said £80.00 so left it at that So looked on booking.com and got it for £76.00 Why is cheaper to book on these sites and not directly to the hotel?

It was close to family and the Yorkshire Wildlife Park plus the Garden Centre 5 minutes away for breakfast.

The mattress wasn't comfortable, it dipped badly in the middle.

Breakfast was good, great coffee. Clearly a local popular spot. Only about 3 trains passed by in the night but I'm a light sleeper, my partner didn't notice. Very nice friendly staff.

Everything was good, slight bit of damp near the corner of the sink in room 5, but looked like it was being maintained.

The pub was very friendly & welcoming. Great location for Wroot Rocks.

The room was well decorated; however, hadn’t been visited by a cleaner for weeks! The bed mattress had obviously seen more action than Actionman on an all action weekend!

The property is great value for money. The rooms were very clean and the staff were very helpful.

The mattress in Bedroom 1 needs attention. It’s has slumped under the front left corner. Replace this then it would be brilliant. The air conditioner for the pub was under the bedroom window - a bit of a nuisance.

Very comfy bed, great clean bathroom, good location for my work, easy access from car park.

They don't do breakfast, only "brunch" from 11.00 which was too late for me.

Nice and comfortable room.A big soft bed with lots of pillows!

The welcome was nice. Efficient staff. Clean modern room. In fact a large room. Ideal for people with walking problems as it was ground level. Even though connected to the pub it was a quiet room. As there for Halloween event it was ideal.

Didn’t dislike anything. Maybe move the large plant pot outside the door to the other side as my partner walked into it when exiting the room.

Clean, comfortable, quiet and friendly. Staff were brilliant. Breakfast sandwiches were superb. Food was delicious. A very nice places, plenty of parking and we would definitely stay again.

Stayed for 1 night while doing mx at a local track , safe parking for a van . Rooms were nice and comfortable for the money . Food in the pub was really nice .

Nothing although I think we may of struggled to park the vans if we had checked in much later

Comfortable bed, nice room size, car park onsite

The door was a bit tricky to lock the door

The separate entrance to our room was lovely and being able to park right outside our room was amazing. We were made to feel very welcome, the facilities were great and we would definitely recommend. We will rebook when next in the area.

Wider range of time for breakfast availability, but we knew ahead of time and the venue offered us an alternative place down the road to get breakfast if we wanted it.
