- The pool, size of the room, and the friendliness of the staff.
Cons -
- Quite a few kids running around the hallway outside our room at midnight
- The cleanliness of the room and general conditions. Just needed a good dust and a lick of paint!
- The fact we were blocked in the underground carpark for 4 and half hours as some pillock had parked in a keep clear area and the staff didn't know who owned the vehicle

Ok
The fact we were blocked in the underground carpark for 4 and half hours as some pillock had parked in a keep clear area and the staff didn't know who owned the vehicle
Our room was lovely sea view with balcony plus comfy easy chairs to look out to sea. Breakfast was very good as well.
Not a lot.
Pleasant
People having conversations and making a lot noise past midnight in the hall way where our room was. This could of been sorted at reception in the morning not with the manager in the middle of the night.
Lovely large bedroom. Very comfortable. With low level bath . Separate power shower. Large bed.
View from bedroom. Looked over roof and opposite building.
cleanfriendly staffsea location
Pillows need up datingtoilet seat in room was loose
We have stayed before and will definitely be back … there is enough room for everyone and every type of guest from the very young to the elderly and infirm.. all are exceptionally well catered for Cannot fault thus hotel
The only thing we noticed was the crumbling concrete at the end of post on the main entrance outside stairwayIt did look a bit dangerous if a child had put their hand on it .. I’m sure it will have been attended to after the New Year Break
Location, clean and comfortable rooms
Busy holiday period
The location, the staff, the breakfast
The luxury room number 156. Worn and dirty carpet! patio window to balcony was filthy could hardly see the outside from it! was restricted sea view due a wall from the next room that stood further out than this one! patio mat stuck down with duck tape! Tea tray only one pack of biscuits for 2 people! Base of bed looked really old and maybe should be covered with a valance! Seprate toilet to bathroom, good idea but no sink to wash your hands and no toilet brush! Bathroom old and dated, crack in one sink and dripping tap in the other one! Shower no shelves/unit to rest your products on whilst in the shower have to put them on the floor! The white tiles made the shower feel like you was in a prison! Only 1 hand towel for 2 people! Sofa was old and filthy, needs replacing furniture old and dated needs replacing , no pictures on walls to give more ambience, I do have more photos to substantiate my review
breakfast was very good but self service is not my cup of tea when i come on holiday i dont expect to do things myself bit like some supermarkets great for the kids staff entertaining them dressing up chap singing songs great
self service breakfast
Great hotel very clean, staff lovely and great location. Things to do with the kids and entertainment
The room was lovely.
Breakfast is not as good as it used to be fresh fruit consists of orange or grapefruit people like me on tablets can't eat grapefruit don't like orange or yoghurt.
Well placed, room and bed clean and comfortable
Rather expensive
Very comfortable great location rooms clean and everything you needed
Lovely hotel, great location.
We had an issue with our room smelling of smoke and could see ash on the inside of the balcony. We reported upon arrival and reception said they would send someone up. No one came. Reported again this morning and was dealt with very well.
The whole time spent with my long time friend and having some 'our' time as we both look after our grandchildren. It was great to just chill, have a nice meal and relax. Also impressed with the car park facilities on the hotel premises given that it is a busy area. The inclusion of dedicated car park space once you had registered at the reception your registration number for the length of time of your stay.
If I had one issue, it would be that the breakfast self service area could be better laid out and managed by the staff on duty. The food and plates could have been a lot hotter.
It was clean
It was in need of some TLC. In our room all the doors had strips missing off them, there was a seperate toilet but with no sink which we found strange. The seats in the room were really dirty and needed a good clean. We were overlooking a kind of playground that looked really neglected. It was very noisy early hours morning and then again from 6 ish but I know that isn’t the fault of the hotel just inconsiderate people. The other thing we didn’t particular like was that anybody could access the corridors to the rooms whether they are staying at the hotel or not and there didn’t seem to be staff at the front desk very much. At other hotels we have stayed you have to use your key card to access the rooms so you had to be a guest.
The staff were exceptionally helpful and understanding with a sensitive subject regarding my wife's eating requirements. The facilities at the hotel were a holiday in itself. The food was delicious and the waiters and waitresses were efficient and tentative without being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble and every request was completed with a smile. Will be going again but next time will be staying longer than 3 nights.
The only complaint I can think of is they don't do room service and the coffee and tea making facilities in the room are a bit basic for £180 a night some nice chocs or biscuits to compliment the coffee would be a nice touch.
