- Cooked breakfast paid for each day for us both not supplied because the chef was on holiday in Thailand. we had paid for this and request a refund. We were not informed of this before hand and this should have been stated upon our booking.

Cons -
- to have the room serviced it wasnt. No clean towels or bins emptied . crockery left dirty and no body available to speak to about the lack of service which again we paid for. We were left cereal ,dried instant porridge, juice and small pots of yogurt along with a fruit bowl with brown bananas and upon touching an apple ,my thumb went through it. Eating this so called breakfast sitting on the bed balancing cereal on our knees. being promised a phone call on our booking out from the manager who was on duty at 1 pm to discuss our complaints. He did not even have the politeness to phone us back.
- The breakfast was non existent. On arrival told it was DIY affair on landing. Cereal, cereal bars, tired looking fruit, yogurt and juice. As a non cereal eater all I could eat was a banana and yogurt both mornings. At no point during booking or on their website was this stated and having stayed there before was expecting a proper cooked meal. Having paid for a B and B package felt cheated and will certainly never stay there again.
- I arrived at 19.25hrs to book in. Evening meal was not available at stopped serving. At no point on the booking were the times of food displayed, staff were not willing to explain. They were more interested in the pub! Bed not comfy. Breakfast a disaster- had to eat very limited food in room , no staff around and I got locked out of my bedroom. Finally found someone in hotel kitchen who let me back into bedroom. Horrendous - photos of meals served do not relate to what I experienced.

Good location for easy travel to Lake District for the day. Staff are friendly and kind. Meal was lovely.
There was no staff in early morning when we want to leave and we couldn’t due we didn’t know where to put their room key in safe place and I had to text them to ask.
Easy check-in, staff very welcoming and friendly. Plenty of parking
The shower was broken, but managed to wash. Bathroom was very small, with small towels. Mattress with very springy, noise from outside the room kept me awake. Grab & go breakfast was very limited, majority had already been taken when I left at 7:15am, no drink or fruit left.
The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was very clean and modern. Excellent evening meal with great staff. Breakfast was a feast.
Amazing choice. Well cooked and generous portion.
Bathroom was functional but a teeny bit small.
The food in the evening was nice, extremely big portions
The atmosphere in the restaurant wasn't quite what I was expecting. The bed in the king standard room wasn't comfortable at all, you could feel the springs through the 2 single mattresses that was put together.
Very clean and modern bathroom and room. Great shower. Comfortable and stress free stay, good night's sleep. There was live music in the bar which we could hear in our room but this wasn't a problem for us. Breakfast was mega!
The Hotel was nice, good location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was large and had a Seaview. Food in the restaurant was good, breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.
Our bed was very springy and uncomfortable, definitely needs replaced.
The room was a great size comfy bed.But the food was absolutely out this world. The quality and postions Wow Sam and team, thank you for a lovely stay .We will be back
Nothing at all

The only thing that can't be helped it that there isn't a lift
Breakfast is excelent,Nice clean rooms with ensuit.Good andriod TVEvn meals are generous & well priced.
Pillow & matress are tired & a bit lumpy.
Really friendly staff, great food, good location.
Heating erratic.
Full english breakfast NOT offered as advertised.Only hot option was a sausage or bacon sandwich which was a bit disappointing
Generally very good
there is only one thing I would change about the stay. On my last night I went to the restaurant for food and waited at the bar for a member of staff to come and show me to a table. The restaurant was very busy (Christmas bookings etc) and the staff were working hard. However, even though several people came the the bar area in the restaurant they didn't say a word to me. The youngest lady serving evening entered something on the till right in front of me without any eye contact or acknowledgement of my existence. Clearly they didn't have much time, but a a brief word on the lines of someone will be with you shortly would have made the difference. I waited 10 minutes at the bar feeling like an idiot, and getting more frustrated. Once my existence was finally registered (by the lady that seemed to be in charge) I was shown to a table and told there would be a delay in receiving my food (quite understandable considering how busy they were.
Breakfast limited on this occasion
Room a little cold and the towel rail heating wad not working and the sink drainage mechanism also.my previous comments
