The bed was very comfortable and the location is handy

We needed an accessible room but the picture on here did not match up - no folding seat in the shower and it was impossible to move around in the room, we had to rearrange all the furniture just to be able to get into the bathroom

Welcoming, clean, smelt lovely and all staff were genuinely smiley

£124 was steep not to include breakfast

Big car park , gym and close to Asda, pictures and pub what does food, McDonalds and other places to eat

On arrival police was there as the hotel had guest paid by the local council and something happened (not sure) just it’s a bit uneasy having police there on arrival

Let us check in early on a very snowy day ps the upgraded showers are fab

The hotel was clean, warm and comfortable. The receptionist was helpful and gave us explicit directions to the room without any problem.

The only downside was the room carpet. It was almost threadbare in places and is in need of replacement. It didn't spoil the break, but it makes you wonder if other rooms are in need of a little TLC.

We had a ground floor room, throughout the night some kind of air conditioning unit kept coming on and waking us up

We were staying over Christmas to be near my elderly parents for Christmas. Hotel is only a short distance from parents. Room was nice and clean, good towels, comfy bed. Not sure about air source heating though. Reasonably efficient but very noisy. We had to turn it off to sleep so temperature dropped pretty quickly. There were fewer staff which is understandable over Christmas. Those that were there were very good, friendly and worked hard. The facilities again were limited during the Christmas break which didn’t bother us. I did hear a few other guest chuntering about it and the lack of information relating to how breakfast was being served etc, we however didn’t have any issues. Loved the Christmas stocking hanging on our room door when we went for breakfast Christmas Day morning. Lovely touch.

The air source heating. Reasonably efficient but definitely not the best form of heating. Very noisy, we kept it on first night well into the night but couldn’t sleep properly for the noise and it leaves you with a dry throat and snuffly. Had to switch it off the next 2 nights so we could sleep, consequently room got cold fairly quickly. I understand it’s currently the form of heating everyone is being forced to use but it’s definitely not the best.

Tried to charge £800 parking. The parking cowboy company harassed me for 2 weeks.Avoid the headache!

The staff were nice and it had a car park

Unable to use a playstation on the tv as the hotel actively blocks it

This was a very comfy rooms, they has everything you need for pool to gym, from good bar to good food & all friendly staff

Can’t find any faults

great location very nice staff and very quite, the room was excellent very large bed and the breakfast was plenty. I never had an evening meal but the prices looked good the beer could do with dropping a bit in price.

Room was a long way from reception, need to ask for a closer room next time.Resturant was a bit chaotic at breakfast times, EV chargers could be a lot better, high speed broken, needed apps etc most good chargers nowadays you can just pay with card

Breakfast was varied with good choice. The location was perfect for us as we were visiting family in the area.

One of the bedside lights didn’t work and the plug in the basin didn’t hold the water.

Arrived late due to work, staff were amazing and managed to cater for my allergies with a supper. The bed was so comfortable and had an amazing sleep
