The Sea Hotel

Good location. Rooms a good size and comfortable. Breakfast is very good.

Bad

The state the bar staff walking and quitting so we could not use bar anymore as only 1 more member of staff who was not trained to serve alcohol, asked for refund to go to different hotel and got nothing but a attitude

Friendly welcoming staff, clean and warm.

Friendly staff, food very nice and good size portions .rEverywhere clean and today ,Good to here the place is being upgraded all the time so look forward to seeing new bathrooms in there

The staff were helpful, the decor was modern and fresh and the breakfast was better than expected with the exception of the filter coffee which was very weak, 'Tea Drinkers coffee'

It wasn't a problem for us but there is no lift.

Nothing. Old, tired and poorly maintained. rude staff. The rooms look nothing like the pictures.

Everything. Smells bad, not accessible, room was like a prison.

Was a friendly environment

The room looked nothing like the picture. Although was still clean and tidy. Just looked cheap for the money. Couldn't turn heating down cause thermostat was broken.

Excellent service. Friendly staff throughout the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean and well stocked. Food was superb during our stay. Huge thanks to Stu and Jackie for going above and beyond to assist with anything we needed. We will definitely be returning.

The breakfast , was worth paying the extra served to your liking .

Uncomfortable bed

The staff were very efficient and genuinely friendly and helpful. They are a real asset to this hotel

Clean bright and friendly and located right on the fair

The bed was small and very firm and wasn't comfortable for a person of my build

Excellent location being near to the park and beach and a short walk to a wide variety of restaurants. Staff really friendly and helpful. Also free parking was a huge bonus. Had a vegan breakfast which was fantastically presented and delicious

Bed a little uncomfortable - could do with a new mattress, but overall a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.

We have stayed here on 2 occasions now. The 1st time our room was smaller and we did not include breakfast. 2nd time our room was very spacious and we Included breakfast which was really nice. Reception and breakfast staff were really helpful and friendly would certainly come back.

The location and the staff. Very helpful and professional.

No bedside lights. Just one big light, showing the bright bulb. I want to read in bed. I don't want to disturb my husband. I don't want to get out of bed to turn the light off.No chest of drawers, clothes were left on the floor of the wardrobe. Black out blinds rattled all night but we had to have the windows open because the heating was on full. Thermostat was broken.Shelves needed in the bathroom.No light next to mirror for make up application. Food offering ended at 7.30 pm!

Ceiling lighting could be brighter

Location and the staff were lovely and helpful.Breakfast was okay, sausages were bland but I’m being picky

Our room was so hot, couldn’t turn the thermostat down and the bar closed at 10pm but this didn’t stop us enjoying our one night

No bar , even at 9.30 for a hotel .

Room small but comfy. All staff I came across were very friendly. David who works as the night receptionist is a star, very knowledgeable about the area, always up for a chat in the passing and went out his way to print me a map of an area I wasn't sure of and highlighted the directions to go.

Room was very warm the first night even with the window being open, that was without the heating being on, but did eventually cool down throughout the next day.

Location fantastic! Small traditional hotel, we had a part sea view. Free parking included.

The lighting in the bedroom was very blue and cold. Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, few hairs left in shower.
