Smelled old and moldy… shower water flooded the entire bathroom.

HOTEL CANCELLED OUR BOOKING DUE TO AN ERROR ON THEIR COMPUTER SYSTEM,THEY SHOULD HAVE HONOURED THE BOOKING AT THEIR QUOTED/BOOKED PRICE.DEEPLY DISSATISFIED THAT THEIR MISTAKE/FAULT WAS NOT HONOURED.

THEIR BOOKING SYSTEM WAS/IS FAULTY.

Very welcoming staff, comfortable room with tea, coffee and complimentary biscuits.

Breakfast wasn’t included and was prohibitively expensive , £17.50 from memory , so I went into town to eat.Charged for a parking overnight.

Bedroom was decorated lovely, absolutely stunning views of the harbour and town.

Bathroom had a few aspects … toilet didn’t stop dripping and under the non slip shower mat was damp/mildew stains & a rusty chip in the bath enamel.

Good sized comfortable room with all amenities. Up-to-date bathroom with good shower, though sink plug was broken.

Parts of the communal areas were a bit 'tired'.

Issues with check in and staff were never really at the desk...there's a number to call but a bit difficult if you're from outside the UK and don't have a local phone. A few other things that made my stay less than ideal. Unfortunately there was an uncomfortable altercation between the staff and another guest in the room next to mine as I was trying to get to my room for the evening. The end result was that I didn't feel comfortable as a solo female on my last evening. Lastly, it seems like smoke from guests smoking in an adjacent or upstairs room came into my room via the bathroom fan exhaust, making the entire room smell.

Breakfast hit and miss depending on staff.

We had an issue with our original room which was very quickly sorted and we were moved to a new and better room, would definitely recommend the sea view rooms, slept with the balcony door open, was lovely to wake up to the sound of the sea! Very professional staff, very friendly and accommodating.

Staff all very friendly and helpful. We were allowed to leave our luggage before check in and after check out as we travelled to and from by night train. Breakfast was great, dinner menu was very restricted.

Dinner menu could have been better. Not sure about the supplemental charge for certain items - made those selections a bit pricey for what you get.

Pleasant room with an excellent sea view. A good shower.

No one in reception on our arrival. Servicing of room haphazard e.g. milk not replaced. No cups available one breakfast and then they came out one by one!Post which arrived for us at the beginning of our stay was not passed on and no message left. I didn't know that the items had been sent until we arrived home and then it took 2 weeks to receive them and we were charged.

Nicely decorated room with a 10/10 view, good shower, very good breakfast. As we are elderly, we appreciated the help with luggage. All the staff were great.

The dining room lacked a bit of atmosphere and the breaded pollock at dinner was a bit disappointing.

Lovely rooms. Very spacious with very well stocked tea/coffee facilities. Also an unexpected bonus was the availability of an EV charger for our use. Although pre-booking is advisable.

Unfortunately there was not a lift in the property.

Very courteous staff, superb facilities with a choice of lounges, a cinema room, clean and inviting swimming pool with a small deck area for enjoying the evening sun, spacious restaurant area, huge room with one of the best sea and harbour views I've ever seen, tasty breakfast.

One of windows looked over the Bay and the other up to the town. Staff were friendly and it’s a good location for both the town and the beach.

Car parking and breakfast are not included, but there’s a good complimentary coffee machine.

Beautiful hotel inside and out. Spacious rooms nice bathrooms, we had a beautiful view from our windows of the harbor.

The views from our room were great.

The bathroom wasn’t very nice, a bit scruffy. Normally wouldn’t bother us, but for the price we paid, expected better standards
