- Horrendous noise from room next door at 01.30 in the morning, banging, shouting and yelling… too scared to investigate or intervene. Also, I left a bag of postcards behind in the morning, after 3 hrs sleep… I rang ELEVEN TIMES once home. NO REPLY.!!

Love the location of hotel. Great views to the sea and beach
Very dated. The hotel needs a good upgrade which I'm sure would attract more customers. Parking is a nightmare
Staff are always so friendly and we have stayed many times. Brilliant location but I would recommend a room with a sea view as the view is amazing. On our last stay the heating wasn't working in our room. I reported this and someone came straight away to try and fix the problem, it couldn't be fixed so we were promptly moved to a different room.
The walk back up the hill from the town! Seriously though any local taxi will take you up the hill for a small fee but the views on the walk back are stunning!
The breakfast was excellent and the staff were lovely
The room we had was clean however the bathroom was not very clean the shower was tiny and the cubicle was broken
Excellent breakfast, warm and clean room, good location.
Good location
Dirty, uncomfortable bed, no money spent in years, heating would not turn off, would never stay again
Location , view , service , breakfast , value for money all excellent .
Bearing in mind the value for money we liked it all but there were signs of tiredness
Location
Filthy dirty. Room allocated was not the room booked. Mould above window. Medication found on the floor next to the bed, reported to manager who did nothing about it. Left at 5am in the morning and did not stay the second night due to hygiene issues.
Everyone loved dogs
Breakfast , tea in erns, no mushrooms at breakfast only scrabbled egg, bacon, sausage toast which was limiting
Location excellentStaff excellent
Room a bit outdated and no view
The hotel was very inexpensive..just before new year. We did not know what expect. But we were highly delighted. The room was large and overlooked the sea. The bathroom had a bath! It was in a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you.
The hotel is abit tired and needs decoration.
Amazing location
Room was right next to lift, which clunked and dinged through the night.
The view from our room was stunning and being able to open the patio door was wonderful. This over rode the weeds on the balcony and the dirty shower tray ( in and around the base). The Staff were fab especially the breakfast guy who topped up everything, everyone was so friendly.
It was very tired upstairs, container under roof window collecting leak on 2nd floor and it smelt musty. Dirty around shower tray BUT the view and Staff over rode all of this plus we know it's going to be updated as our trip was cut short.
Very good staff helpful only had breakfast enjoyable
We have stayed at the hotel for over 10 years
The location is excellent and the view was amazing
When we initially arrived early we was quite abruptly told you can't check in until 3pm!! Now that was fine.. Can we leave our cases somewhere safe.. Yes through that door then through the brown door. (a storage room full of old furniture and stuff) the rear door was open!! Returned to check in later another colleague was on reception (thank god) she gave us our key.. Well when I say we opened the door.. And was completely shocked is an understatement!! The room was shockingly tiny.. Probably couldn't get our cases in if we tried!! The bed was tiny.. The sea view I paid for was shocking 3ft by6ft window.. The table was barely hanging onto it's leg!! That room needs to be condemned. I've stayed here before but never in a room like that. Luckily I complained and we ended up in a lovely room with the sea view I had expected I had paid for.
Location and good sized room
Very dated, in need of refurbishing
The location
Had to change rooms twice due to issues with the rooms. 1st one had a leak down the wall & second there was a constant banging noise (felt on roof above us was loose & flapping causing the noise) Hotel is very dated & tired looking. Needs a refurb. Water pressure in shower was very slow & took ages to get hot water to come through
Location
The mould, peeling walls, no temperature controls - very hot!
