Pros +
- Staff were fabulous. Breakfast was included and was delicious. Car Parking was avaliable and easy to park in. Bootled water, Tea and nespresso was avaliable in the room. Bed was very comfortable
- Good location and breakfast offering. Great view from the terrace.
- The location and view were superb, clean comfortable rooms and the food was excellent
Cons -
- A/C was noisy. Bathroom was a little worn.
- The room was a little tired for the price of one night at over £200. There was rubbish (packet of cheese) under the bed and some belongings from a previous stay left on top of the wardrobe. I don¿t expect to see these types of things at this cost.
- The dinner choice in the restaurant wasn't brilliant. One of our waiters was really lovely, but the other was quite rude and made us feel uncomfortable when we asked if we could pay the bill separately rather than charging it to one room, and he made it clear it was an inconvenience, when there was only one other couple in the restaurant so he wasn't exactly rushed off his feet! The receptionist was also quite abrupt and rude. But if it wasn't for these two people I would have given a score of ten, but I only reduced the score to a 9 as it didn't ruin our stay.

Beautiful comfy room, incredible view
No change to dinner menu for the two nights we stayed
Great location and we had a lovely big room, comfy bed and good choice at breakfast
The curtains that were at the two French windows over balconies, we were in room 301. They were very marked on linings and one pair had ripped linings, not a great impression.
The location was perfect for our short visit
Unfortunately the spa bath wasn’t working, although the hotel would have happily moved us to another room if we had told them.
Very Spacious, clean and tidy. Staff were always about and very helpful.
I didn’t stay long enough
Service from all staff was excellent. Food high quality with nice presentation. Beds comfy. Location excellent.
Coffees very expensive!
The location, staff, view and food all perfect.
My room was just too hot even with the temp down.
Location
The communal areas were very cold. We arrived at 3.00pm and the only food we could order was Afternoon Tea. We just wanted a simple sandwich - but the response was no! Very disappointing for a 4 Star hotel.
Friendly staff, helpful too. Comfortable bed, gorgeous views . Lovely breakfast
Heating was off and took a long time to warm up
Location was fantastic, overlooking the bay in front of the hotel. It is well worth paying the extra for the sea view and balcony.Breakfast selection was really good and a great start to the day.
Food, view, room, friendly staff
Surprised that no help was offered re luggage and that breakfast coffee / tea was self-service
Breakfast was wonderful.Staff excellent l
Thought I could hear the washing machines going half the night whilst I was not sleeping.
View from room and breakfast amazing.
Our room was very small and to walk between the end of the bed and the Juliet balcony doors was so narrow we had to slide rather than walk as the gap was less than the width of two legs. The ceilings were slanted to follow the roof shape and the wardrobe was shaped to fit the slant. The mirrors in the bedroom and en-suite were also slanted at an angle.
The view of the harbour was greatShower goid
More teabags , milk and sugar required
The views! Comfortable room , a decent size , good choice of breakfast and mostly kind and helpful staff
The receptionist on arrival (not the one who was there at all other days and times who was delightful) was disinterested and decidedly unwelcoming! Also parking priority should be given to those staying overnight.
The location is excellent and the restaurant views are great overlooking Poole harbour.
Could have had more relaxing seating areas and some areas need a little more tlc (eg stains on toilet seat and rusting shower rail).
Fantastic location. Traditional attentive service. Good quality meals.
The hotel was very warm, especially the dining area. We felt this made it uncomfortable.
Friendly and attentive staff at breakfast even though it was so busy the waiter got us a table by the window which I really appreciated!
The weather ha ha
