Very clean, lovely staff and comfortable beds
Great location, lovely historic building and great interiors.
Fabulous ambiance. Excellent food and service. Wonderful room. Very accommodating for our dogs. Staff very friendly and professional, delivering personal service with attention to detail. My husband said it was the best hotel he'd ever stayed at!
Car parking is tight, but close proximity to a major car park in the town. Quite pricey but you get what you pay for. We're not 'spa people ' if you are it's not for you.
lovely room big comfy bed and nice furnishings plus decent coffee machine. Lovely bar and bistro area.
advertised as having parking but none available when we arrived. Lamp not working.
Very nice room, too many stairs though, perhaps less able people would struggle to access Lering Station roomStaff were very good and bar/restaurant area excellent
Food very good generally dinner could have been hotter, very good breakfast though as commented by me to the chef
Beautiful room despite some worn pieces of furniture Great location - close to pubs and restaurants close to railway station and quay
Breakfast not included when you are paying £134 for the night!!!!
We absolutely loved this hotel, it was beautiful. We stayed in a Suite which was equipped with everything we needed for our stay including a cot and we had plenty of space for us all (baby). The cleanliness of the entire hotel was exceptional especially our room and the staff were all very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and we had a roast dinner on the Sunday evening which was also magnificent. Poole itself is quite run down but the hotel was brilliant, we travelled to Bournemouth to take our baby to the oceanarium which was worth a visit. All in all a fabulous weekend, thank you very much.
My husband said it would have been good to have a lift as quite far to the suite with all our luggage.
Room was the basic, but it was really lovely. Spacious, small courtyard off the room, lovely bathroom, and very clean. Quiet and very comfortable.
Friendly and welcoming, nice vibe, good place to relax. Bed very comfortable.
Decor all a bit tired and dated. Limited parking with fee.
Clean, current, screams Poole heritage, beautiful restaurant
Lovely hotel, with very friendly staff. Food was excellent, bar staff really nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our short stay.. We ate in the hotel on the Saturday evening, food was really good.
It was all good for a short weekend break.
From arrival to departure all staff very friendly and pleasant. Room was perfect. Breakfast and dinner very well presented and very tasty.
Very comfortable bed and duvet, linen, beautiful quality cotton, clean, staff were lovely!
Great location. Nice quiet room. Comfortable bed
The location in the old town, near the ferry terminal. The room was very comfortable and the atmosphere was relaxed and tranquil. Good car parking facilities provided.
Lovely hotel, friendly staff, comfortable bedroom, excellent breakfast.,
As always, rooms are well presented, restaurant onsite so great to dine and enjoy the wine list.
The reception staff were either not there or not very welcoming- disappointing on arrival, no one there to checkout. So many stairs and small stairways- no problem but couldn’t imagine locating rooms if you were not physically able.Parking onsite, told we couldn’t reserve parking but on arrival no spaces but reservation signs were present! Cheaper parking alternative down the road.
