Village Hotel Birmingham Dudley

That even though we had not stayed before it was familiar as we've always as as stayed in Village Hotels before

The fire alarm went off 4 times, either due to testing or a fault, it would have been nice to have had communication from staff regarding this

The rooms were inadequate, the carpets were dirty, I was not satisfied at all. We asked when we arrived at the hotel to book dinner. They told us that we didn't have to order anything. When we wanted to come for dinner, it was full. You guessed it, they didn't serve us. We arrived at the room and the stench in the room made me want to go home. We ended our stay that same day. I am requesting a refund.

Facilities, friendly staff

Room 231 is above the kitchen the noise from the fans was really disturbing for most of the night

Nice room , good parking

Very noisy at night , smell of cigarettes on Ist floor

The noise from the traffic wasnt great late at night we was at the front of the hotel Pillows were hard and horrible. No curtains so the room was far to light to sleep. When had a shower the whole room steamed upWouldnt recommend if you want a good night sleep. The lighting in the room was bad.

Sauna steam room and jaquizzi was so busy that we struggled to use facilities.

Hotel room was lovely and clean and fully equipped with what we needed for one night stay

Our room was next to some sort of generator outside so it did get quite noisy at night but I for the price we paid for the room we weren't too upset by it

Staff are always friendly, breakfast and evening meal was lovely, club rooms are a good option for parking and swim/gym access Carrie on reception was excellent!

CLUB ROOMS should have 2 Club bars with tea & coffee instead of one, that’s crazy it’s a room for two people, coffee for two, water for two and ONE BAR?! Some of the rooms need a little updating, repaint, check doors all close, a couple of mugs instead of espresso cups - little things

Friendly staff good food and service, lovely comfy beds and clean bathroom with plenty of hot water

Road noise coming through window, I even thought the window was open at one point, but it wasn't. Ear plugs needed if your a light sleeper

Location not to far from station, shops and restaurants.Access to gym and health suite Comfy bed and excellent breakfast

Slamming of doors by other guests celebrating a birthday but that's not the staff's fault.

Loved the staff, so cheerful and friendly, rooms are very clean and welcoming.

It was a lovely club room i had very clean and really warm very comfortable

Bar area service is slow and very noisy no quiet area to dit and talk

Nice hotel nice and clean and accommodating for all needs, friendly and helpful staff.

Not alot

The room wasn't clean there was stains on the carpet! when we arrived the room smelt of rotten egg, the lamp didn't work in the room. Bed weren't connected together even though we asked for a double bed, there was chips in the bathroom sink and bath.

The room was nice bed comfy, nice shower and bath. Enjoyed the gym,swimming,steam and sauna.

Great leisure facilities

Pub food rather than restaurant food.Mixed pricing not good £65 one night and £135 another night.

Comfy bed, clean rooms, working shower, tea and coffee facilities.breakfadt was amazing, so much choice

The very loud sound, possibly room next to a plant room that makes the heating work? . Room 131

The room was clean and comfortable. We paid for the Swimming facilities but we both had a cold so gave it a miss this time. We used the bar a couple of times for meals, which were decent enough. Staff as friendly as ever, we'll be back.

Nothing to moan about

The pub and grill are nice

The rooms are somewhat dated and there is no chef available to cook eggs or an omelette in the morning

Great staff , clean

Could do with more modern offering as was only given shampoo where would prefer both shampoo and conditioner.Has smart tv but can’t stream Netflix etc - this upgrade or offering should be standard now days and will make stay more pleasant

Comfy bed staff were well mannered lovely food safe environment the room was clean .
