The bed

Staff were all lovely as always, but Donna especially she was very welcoming and even arranged a Birthday Card with 2 complementary drinks for myself and my husband for my 40th Birthday. It really is the little things people do.We even got to meet Chico at breakfast added bonus

Just little thing's really, but I'm sure nothing a lick of paint in the rooms couldn't fix.

I could not fault anything and I work in a hotel so this says something!Clean inside and out!Staff very welcoming and happy to help.Breakfast buffet was lovely and had alot of variety.Will definitely be coming back in the near future.

Bath very dated and attention needed to tiles etc. No Mirror near to plugs to dry your hair

Staff were friendly.

Rooms were very dated and in need of some TLC. The shower was fitted with a curtain which i find unhygienic. Breakfast was ok but a hair was found on a fried egg.

The comfortable Bed.

The Elevator small Small and had some delays, so I had to use the stairs most of the time.

I stay here every 1-2 months, just a single night each time but after a couple of years doing this I know the place quite well. This time the room was fine, as usual, and the breakfast was OK.

We checked in at about 5 pm. Our room was at the end of the corridor and every other room between our room and lift had a collection of dirty crockery or empty glasses or bottles outside it, including our room. Presumably these had been sitting outside the rooms since the previous night. After I notified reception, they were cleared up within an hour but why hadn't they been cleared up earlier?

Sensor lighting in room keep going off but once settled in room later no more issues found all staff lovely but a special shout out to Carl on reception very helpful

The staff were so very friendly, they made the stay. The spa facilities were excellent.The room had a view of the water which was lovely. Toiletries were lovely.

Being very picky, the tap wasn't over the basin enough. The way the toilet roll holder was meant that the toilet roll kept falling off.

I liked the breakfast, the bed was comfortable, beautiful scenic view from the room and the spa was amazing. The staff were polite & professional.

Slightly older style hotel but again updated features E.g. smart tv, wireless charge. The happy hour and dinner menu set times. Just Slightly too early and short. Based on what i would prefer.

The room & cleaness

The bathroom light kept going off then the wall lights in the room also WiFi kept going off and there was a buzzing from the light switch & also a bit noisy from people walking through to there rooms ! i suffer with severe anxiety so did not have a good decent night's sleep at all

Cleanliness, location and amenities

The hotel was perfectly place for me to walk to 'parkrun' on Saturday morning. The size of the room was enormous with twin aspect views. It was lovely to have a bath too, to soak away the day's aches and pains.

Sadly, we did find the pillows uncomfortable & hard & the duvet quite thin and small...not the best night's sleep.Whilst there was a twin phone charger & lamp on one side of the bed, there was no such facility on the other side.It was also difficult to use the hair dryer in front of the mirror as the power sockets were awkwardly placed.

Great location and facilities. The rooms were spacious and clean.Helpful staff.

Electric car parking and charging was great. Although I hadn’t expected to pay for parking in addition to my hotel fee.

Check-in was slow. TV didn’t work and when reported no one came to mend it. It was really noisy as there was a function on until about 10pm. Food was average (although service was great), sockets in the room were loose.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly,and hotel was ideally situated for my stay and purpose of visit

Didn't like i couldn't stay another night due to other commitments

We had a meal in Farady's from the bar menu and it was excellent - could not fault it - very tasty and portion size was excellent

Good stay, been a few times now.

Sad to say the meal in the restaurant, was not the best .It was fish and chips but came out over done.I must say the breakfast was good.
