Old Orleton Inn - Telford

It has the cozy feeling of a classical English inn or small hotel. Staff is very freindly and helpful. And the breakfast is the best I've had in England in years. Fresh ingredients, perfectly prepared and artfully served.

Dinner service was a little slow. The food is great but even though there were few diners, food was slow in coming from the kitchen.

The rooms were lovely, the staff were welcoming and very nice and made all our family and friends feel at home, the price was really good, will definitely stay again.

The place was excellent, however I would say it would be perfect 10/10 if we’d had a cooked breakfast rather than the continental. The continental was nice though, nice selection of cereal, croissants etc

The property was clean and comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff and we were well cared for.

Very clean, very comfortable bed with good quality linen and towels.

Lack of a cooked breakfast. Hamper provided but would prefer hot option.

Basket of complementary fruit/muesli/nuts and water and juice and yoghurt in fridge was a nice touch. The room was small but quirky we liked it alot. bed was comfortable with extra pillows if required also. Room had fridge which was useful and very large tv. Staff were helpful and accommodating and the food in restaurant was lovely. We would definitely stay again

Breakfast hamper.good selection.really lovely hotel and.spotless .lovely garden.nice area.it is near main road.but hardly noticed traffic.noise.as secondary glazed windows.would stay here again.and reccomend.to others.some stunning countryside around this area.

Bathroom cabinet was. Grubby inside. bed too hard for me.no hot water for shower.?? But hot water for sink..mirror too high for doing hair and make-up.or need a higher seat .

Lovely property. Prime location. Great panelled interior. These old properties are unique, especially when the character is maintained. My room had a lovely door that wasn't true ro the frame; and because of the age of the building the floor was a little wonky, but all good and unique.

Beautiful room with a huge comfortable bed. A thoughtful breakfast basket and a fridge stocked with milk and soft drinks. Great little touch.

Very minor but shower temperature took a while to hit confit table.

Clean rooms no complaints. Had a basket in the room with some breakfast bits in there which was a nice touch.

Stop serving food at 7:45 pm. Not a complaint as such just worth a mention for those arriving late evening.

This is a lovely hotel that goes out of its way to make your stay comfortable. Whilst they do not have a breakfast option at the moment they do leave a lovely basket in the room with enough provisions to make your own plus fresh milk and orange etc. Beds are super comfortable and the staff are just really nice and helpful, they really try hard to ensure your stay is memorable.

The only comment is that we couldn’t open the window in the room and it did get a little stuffy in the night but no hardship.

Beautiful building, lovely room and free car parking.

The room was cold, the water for the bath was luke warm, the mattress was uncomfortable.

Lovely little pub with rooms about 20 minutes' walk from the centre of Wellington. My room was large, comfortable and light. No breakfast as such, but there was a really good breakfast basket in the room with cereal, yoghurt, fruit, and a croissant. Nice pub downstairs, too.

Room was lovely, comfortable bed, lovely breakfast basket, staff very friendly and helpful. Wonderful food served in the restaurant

Nothing we didn’t like, only slight problem that it is on a main road so little noisy

The staff were friendly and very accommodating. We had two lovely evening meals in the restaurant.

The shower in our room dripped when the adjoining room turned on their taps! :-)

Lovely, friendly but no breakfast.

No breakfast. The baskets in the room were ‘tired’. Bruised apple. Browning banana. The plastic cereal pots were scuffed so clearly recycled, handled, recycled, handled…. The plastic pain au chocolates were so processed you’d die from opening the packaging.

The proprietor Will was very friendly and helped us order a taxi when we struggled to secure an Uber. Receptionist was lovely.Room was attractive, clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. All facilities were fantastic and the breakfast hamper was cute. Would definitely stay here again. Great value for money.
