Extremely friendly staff who accommodated our change of plans.

There was only one set of towels for the 2 of us in the room. My evening meal was advertised as a risotto- this was more rice and peas as it was extremely dry. The rest of the party had fabulous meals.

I like that they provide you with fresh milk to make drinks with a churn to fill with milk from the bar nice touch. Great staff good food nice room and loads of car parking space.

Breakfast great. The staff were really nice. Our room was large & comfortable, an accessible room.

I would definitely use this hotel again. The standard of the room exceeded my expectations. It was warm, well furnished and clean. The bed was lovely and comfortable.The heater worked well which I was thankful for as the weather was cold outside. The reception staff were also extremely welcoming and helpful too.

I would have preferred a blackout window blind to block out the carpark lights but it did not adversely affect my sleep. The menu for dinner was rather restrictive for me as I am on a low fat/low sugar diet and the only choice was a large salad or steak.

Food in the restaurant was excellent, especially as it was very busy due to Valentine's. The staff were friendly and helpful. Nice selection of teas & coffee bags in the room.

WiFi wasn’t great

Reading previous reviews helped me decide to make a booking ! We were not disappointed. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The bedroom was spacious , clean, modern and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and modern. Food at breakfast was particularly good. Menu presented plenty of choice.Overall an excellent stay and would highly recommend.Plenty of parking.

There was an issue checking out. I had paid for the room before the e stay and they asked for a further £25 which the hotel said i needed to pay. I refused. Staff at our function and bar were very friendly but unfortunately the staff in the breakfast area were not so friendly and welcoming. Which was a shame.

The room was spacious, decorated beautifully and clean. The bed was amazing. Shower amazing.

There was nothing I didn't like

Welcoming staff, clean, comfortable bed, quiet, perfect temperature, good selection of teabags etc, nice toiletries, plenty of plug sockets, quality lamps. Lovely restaurant on site. Plenty of parking.

Faint noises due to slamming doors throughout the night

The Red Lion Todwick is an amazing hotel , with very friendly, polite,hardworking staff...Craig and the team are very helpful and all staff carry out their duties in a professional and correct manner ..Linda the head cleaning manager is very,very good at her job and works very hard and her work is immaculate well done Linda....A very big shout out for the Assistant Manager Laura who again is amazing and a real credit to the hotel ,who works exceptionally hard to accommodate customers to their tables and her service is second to none ,truly an amazing lady thank you for looking after us again so well....And not forgetting the Reception ladies Rebecca & Jude who always welcome you with a smile and friendly chat ,total respect to them Brilliant ladies, thank you for making us so welcome again....But all staff we encountered at this hotel are perfect ...And the Bar staff ,waiters and waitresses are all fantastic

Excellent front desk. The ladies at reception are amazing - in all the hotels we've used during this project, they win hands down for customer service. All the staff made us feel at home.Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and have windows that can open for fresh air. Tea, coffee, etc is replenished daily and there are mini flasks in the rooms which can be filled up at the bar if you prefer fresh milk over longlife. Good food all round.

The WiFi and mobile tower coverage is not the greatest in all the rooms but sometimes that's just what you need - switch off and relax! The soap dispensers are at shower height so if you are having a bath you either need to stand up to reach them or bring your own.

Room was really clean, comfortable and had a bath, which was amazing. Bedding clean, in fact it was spotless, the bed was very comfortable too. Dinner was HUGE, same with Breakfast, everything tasted great!

Ideal location just off the M1. Lovely large room , very comfortable bed and facilities….. and quiet ! Would definitely stay again .

Location, also ate in restaurant with 9 members of family / quite slow service for food but all had good meals and food value for money !
