The staff here are so helpful if some thing not ok with the room they sort it straight away. Lots of car parking three pounds a day but cameras in the car park. Good stay for me.

Room was small and shabby only on bath towel but main problem thete was a wedding on and the guests were in and iut of their room banging the door and talking all night untill 0510.then at 07.30 a guest bang on our door asking for bedding and a towel . We got up then and went home awful
Nothing. Very disappointed
Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing due to the poor condition of the room. There were cobwebs present, and the bathtub had visible mold stains. The shower head was old and clearly needs to be replaced. We were also concerned to find that the toilet paper provided appeared to be leftover from a previous guest, which is unacceptable.Additionally, the chair in the room was extremely old, and the seat was so thin that it was uncomfortable and actually hurt to sit on. The pillows provided were also very poor quality—only two very thin pillows, which I had to fold in half just to get some height and support. Overall, the cleanliness, comfort, and upkeep of the room did not meet basic hotel standards.
Close to family
Noise from a wedding party, faulty light in bathroom, poor continental breakfast
All the lot , it was the dogs , staff ect , all kind a polite, definitely staying again , loved the place , whoop
Shop was a bit far, but me legs work ok,
It was warm. Bed was comfortable.
No where to hang clothes. No dressing table. The table that was there was very wobbly. Although the sheets were clean, they were very grey instead of white. Curtains not fitted on the rail correctly & were hanging off one end. I woke up with a insect bite on my stomach & me husband had a bite on his ankle. I didn't use the tea making facilities in the room (don't know how long they had been there). Went to get a coffee from the vending machine in reception, changed my mind when I saw the price... £10. Room was cheep but expected it to be better. Also had to pay £3.00 to park. Definitely would not stay here again. We only booked because our original choice was unavailable.
Receptionist should retire and let...
A smoker will have a different opinion to mine. The bed covers and bathroom were smelly. At 2am I had difficulty to breathe. I went to my car to take the parfum to spray on the bed, when I returned to the room the key couldn’t open and no one was at the reception. I ended up sleeping in the lounge on the couch until 4am when the receptionist (an aged man in the late 60s or early 70s) came down. He was unmannered, very rude and unfit for hospitality business.
Good location for my needs
It was in poor disrepair and many broken items. Breakfast was of poor standard with very limited choice. Ripped wallpaper, black mould in the windows, stains on the floor and walls, broken draws toilet seat bath hand rail, areas not cleaned with large build up of dust. Very very disappointing would recommend no one use this hotel.
Good location ,good parking.warm room
The bed was comfortable and clean. The room has two comfortable arm chairs. The wifi was reasonably good and free.
We stayed in room 201 on the upper floor. It was relatively quiet in the room with little outside noise filtering through from outside.During our entire stay, one night, we saw one staff member who gave us the impression that we were an inconvenience to him.The room is advertised on booking.com as inclusive of parking but all guests are required to pay a £3 fee per 24 hours. The room (deluxe king) is a good size but looks old and in need of TLC. The bathroom tiles were mouldy around the bath edge, there is rusty fittings to the loo roll holder and the door had not been cleaned with goodness knows what marking it. There was only one bath towel supplied. When I asked at reception for another towel the male staff member said he would get one in about 30 minutes. After 45 minutes and no sign of him I went back to reception to find the staff member relaxing in the armchair on his mobile phone. On asking where the extra towel was he said he couldn’t find one and said he had to grab one from the laundry. It wasn’t a bath towel when he handed me the towel but a hand towel and a bath mat. The shower head was pathetic and took about 5 minutes to get warmish water to the head and water flow was terrible. The toilet cistern has a 30cm crack running from side to front. There was no coffee or milk available in the beverage making area.Someone had left a can of carpet freshener on the drawer unit (to hide what smell)? Our booking indicated that breakfast is advertised as included in our room rate. No one welcomed us to the breakfast room. It was only a continental breakfast. No tables were laid. No napkins available. The orange juice was sour. The fruit on offer didn’t look fresh. There was an ample supply of pastries, bread was present to make toast however the only thing available to put on my toast was butter and apricot jam or raspberry jam.
Very good for the prices, often being around £40-£50 a night. Beds always very comfy, staff are excellent, has a convenient vending machine, has an old school look to it like ageing but it grows on you.
Leaving because Hotel was really bad Breakfast overpriced cold
Size of room.
Xl bullies roaming about. Disco banging on till late. Being woken up by residents fighting in room next door. 3am-5am.bed was not fit for purpose.
Staff were friendly
The room was unclean and needed updating, there was also a commotion from other guests shouting and swearing in the middle of the night, It woke us up!
Don't book!
Everything. Not fit to be called hotel. Completely run down from bathroom, shower flooded floor, cigarette butts in sink plug. Heating not working. Very noisy. Threadbare towels, sticky carpets, lack of any comfort. Didn't stay for breakfast as didn't trust anything edible.
The staff were pleasant Room was cleanñ
Started with booking the deluxe double got a standard double. There was no hot water, I approached the staff who came to my room tested the water and said that's warm, I think tepid would be an exaggeration. She then asked if I wanted it warmer I said yes I want a hot shower.Oh I'll turn the boiler on was the response. They never did, so on a cold day on site, I went to bed cold and dirty. No warmer in the morning either. This is obviously a budget hotel but turning the boiler off is ridiculous.A mistake I won't make again.
It was a good, clean, friendly welcoming hotel The lady on the reception was very friendly. Very helpful. Anything we needed she got for us. All in all I would recommend this place as a budget hotel, it was cheap and very cheerful.
There were a few men who were always outside smoking which made me feel a bit uneasy. And the towels were a bit threadbare.
