Carlton Park Hotel Rotherham

So friendly Staff can't do anymore for you They go above and beyond

Me I have a deep memory foam mattress at homeIf the mattress was more comfortable hereI would stay longer Plenty of places to go out and eat hereSuch a shame they don't serve food here

The bed I have a bad backSo I doubled the quiltAnd put that on the mattress Very comfortable

There wasn't anything I didn't likeEverything was spot on

good stay , nice room , good parking , nice area

Clean and basic Very nice

Fact that only 1 pillow ana 1 cushion

The only thing is location.

Cannabis smell throughout the hotel- super strong. Very outdated and strange people lurking around. Rooms were dated and lacked aircon (uncomfortable due to heat). Loud guests, young people playing music and drinking and doors slamming so you don’t sleep. One plug socket per room.

Leaving

Twin room , one bed had dirty sheets. The clean bed smelt like sweaty feet

The fact it was cheap and basic

Rust on the shower poleLight bulbs and packaging thrown out of the window The place didn't even have a tea spoon to put the sugar in our drinksThe mattress omg no sleep You lay down the bottom end of the mattress tilted upAll I had was bad cramps in my legs all nightBecause you wasn't laid flatThe toilet omgIt's a hotel Should have been spotless

Welcoming . Spacious rooms . Good service !!! Location excellent

Nothing Run down cold n dirty

As above

I enjoyed leaving this morning and not looking back.

The first room I checked into, the tv wouldn’t turn off, I went to the reception and they just gave me more battery’s for the remote. Then I had a shower and it would let get cold- burnt myself and had to use my bottled water to poor over me. The staff did not apologise and I requested a room change- big mistake. The whole room stank of cigarettes and was not clean. I will never go near this hotel again.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Comfy bed

TV didn't work, shower was blocked and wouldn't drain away

Another quiet, comfortable stay at the Carlton Park Hotel. Great value for money.Pub and a Tesco only a few minutes walk away. Free parking and friendly staff.

Would make a massive difference if the bar area was open.

The room was cold and smelt of BO. I couldn’t get the tv to work and no one was at reception to assist

Good location, spotlessly clean

No facilities at all

Good location and inexpensive

Decor very tired, entrance unappealing, pillows were poor and rooms were very warm.

Great price, very clean and friendly staff

Place had seen better days. No breakfast, but cheap and cheerful.

Good location, parking facility is good.

Reception staff needs better communication skills, worn out carpets, poor facilities, I was told that breakfast is only for council residents who are housed in the hotel.

It's clean and warm and value for money

Another good stay at the Carlton with no complaints. Warm comfortable room polite staff. Absolute bargain price. Would happily stay here again.
