Breakfast good bed nice soft pillow for me
hardly rocket science. checked in as you'd expect
Very poor corporate attention to guest safety and no proper workable solution despite raising the issue promptly straight away.i shared a twin with my dad. Hes a very fit 91 year old with no particular health issues tho he is awaiting a new knee and for that reason we need to keep him protected. There was no anti slip mat in the shower and when i asked for one was told they don't have such a thing. I said that the shower floor being smooth and shiny was unsafe for him and that we had expected a rubber or similar anti slip mat. We routinely stay in hotels and i have never been met with this unhelpful response. After a while we were given a stool to take in the shower, however, as there are no grab rails in there a stool is not much help as the risk is when someone is getting in and out, especially out when the shower floor is wet and slippery, Space in that bathroom is already extremely tight and putting a stool in there is simply adding a further hazard. I suggested that a anti slip mat be purchased as we were there for 2 nights and was told that the manager doesn't even have the autonomy to buy a single anti slip mat and no access to petty cash. Frankly we were appalled at both the attitude and the blatant disregard for the risk. This was also a financially short sighted decision, as had he slipped and fallen a claim would have been entirely fair. We are very unhappy with Holiday Inn for this ridiculous and dangerous policy which does not seek to minimise risks to guests safety. It smacks of a serious disregard for the wellbeing and physical safety of your more vulnerable guests. Shame on Holiday Inn
Comfortable bed, decent shower, pleasant staff
Close to Aldi. Just a four minute walk which was so nice. Dove soap in the bathroom was a nice touch.
Unfortunately there was significant mold throughout the room particularly on the walls. Completely visible. This triggered significant allergies and asthma for our family. Water leaked onto the windowsill from the window. Location for Bolton was good but given the mold issues, would not stay again.
Just the bed
Not towels and cold
Good location for Albert HallsComfortable clean bedBreakfast room manager helpful and pleasant
Check in staff unwelcoming. Early check in fee unnecessary money making as room was ready and hotel not at capacityBar food awful
Lovely bar/ lounge area, I didn’t have breakfast in the dining area but did order off the menu (late afternoon) to take to my room. I also had a drink in the lounge area whilst waiting which was a nice space. The food was lovely and the 2 courses for £20 was good value too. The lady behind the bar and the one on reception were very nice and very helpful.
The large air conditioning unit ( I think it was) outside the window on the roof was a bit noisy (humming noise) and obscured the view/ light (although there wasn’t really a view outside) but it was only for two nights so wasn’t that much of a big deal.
It had cheap parking and a good location.
The hotel had no working hvac and we did not realize until in our room and there was a note that the a/c was not working. There was a stale smell throughout the hotel and the room was even worse due to no air circulating and the door closed. The staff was pleasant and reimbursed us so we could find a better place to stay.
Spotless hotel and rooms great breakfast and service
Parking fee
Breakfast good. I asked for decaff coffee in room and it was there. Comfy bed. Warm room. Good shower.
It was very clean, tidy, presentable and the staff were all friendly.
The food I had was good but not great in the evening.
Nice location, tidy and nice staff.
We ordered room service that never turned up! My partner went downstairs and had to retrieve it himself.
Very comfy bed. Great shower. Excellent breakfast.
Cleaners dont clean up properly allways rushed jobs when asked for something they be rude and brush things off in order to get out of it
Convenient and clean
We were not showing as having booked breakfast even though we 100% had
