    Pros +

    • Staff cleaning and food was ok but plates small
    • The noise from some residents with children. The children were running through the landings screaming and shouting from the time we arrived 3pm until approx 2.30 am. Even perpetually using the Lift. I for one never got a wink of sleep. In general the hotel was appalling.
    • Nice staff . Good clean room . Comfortable Bed . Been to this hotel several times . I shall come again ...Good value for money ...

    Cons -

    • No heating no hot water couldn’t open window did say to them but nothing done so I had leave early as no hot water and being cold

⚠️ Honest Review – Our Experience at The Presidential Hotel ⚠️We travel to Blackpool regularly and have never had an experience like this before. From the moment we arrived, the hotel was nothing like the photos online. It was extremely run-down and poorly maintained. We were moved between two different rooms, and both were in unacceptable condition. Issues we experienced included:• Evidence of bed bugs• Stained, dirty bedsheets• Carpets that clearly hadn’t been hoovered• Carpet pulled up with cleaning solution left on the floor• No toilet roll provided• Broken / badly fitted drawers• Items left behind from previous guests (including gloves and hangers)The attitude of the staff member on duty was also very disappointing — dismissive and argumentative even when we showed clear evidence of the problems. We had travelled over 3 hours with our family, including a baby and child, and the hotel was simply not fit or safe to stay in. We had no choice but to leave and drive home late at night, which completely ruined our family trip.A refund has now been offered, but we were told we would need to sign a waiver stating we could not leave an honest review about our experience. This made us feel very uncomfortable. Please see our attached photos from the stay, along with messages from Callum (the customer service manager), who stated he had only started 3 days ago — yet his replies were argumentative and he mentioned being due a day off, which doesn’t add up for a first week in the role. We were also given details for Nathan (bar manager / hotel manager), who told us Callum was actually the owner, adding further confusion.Overall, we feel extremely let down by the whole situation.*WOULD NOT RECOMMEND — we genuinely feel like we have been scammed.JOE - North Lincolnshire

Clean if slightly dated. Staff lovely/helpful

Room could do with more storage ie drawers and more plug sockets. Night porter closed bar earlier than we were lead to believe. Dont expect a late (10.30) drink out of season

Sea view was very nice and jacuzzi bath was enjoyed very much.... staff where very friendly..beds where also very comfortable.

£9.50 per person for breakfast is extremely overpriced considering 4 kids only having cearl or toast ... given we have four kids and with 1 still in buggy the fourth floor wasn't the most convenient with the lift being so small we had to split into 3 ... the most disappointing part of our stay and the main reason I choose the president hotel was that there are pictures of a swimming pool and gym online on travigo and bookings.com and when i enquired about this at reception i was told there wasn't ... There for alot off disappointed kids.. also dinner was on a extremely limited menu depending on the amount off guests staying and there was no outside food allowed in according to the signs .. if u had anything bigger then a stroller your not getting it in the lift and the stairs are to steep to attempt

The front desk, the waiting room and restaurant were all clean tidy even pleasant to look at.

The beds were lumpy. My bed wasn’t clean under the quilt. Dog hairs all over the sheet. Soap holder was either mouldy or rotting. Curtains were falling off.

Restaurant staff were great, very friendly and helpful, location is fab and we had a sea view, food was good

Hotel needs an upgrade, very tired, reception staff didn't present themselves very well, reception area was very smelly, one never of staff was cutting about in slippers. Room was very small but cosy

Another pleasant stay, friendly staff as always especially the chef at breakfast time where he always makes time to chat. Check-in and check-out was super fast. The sea view was perfect just why I pay the little extra to look out the window in the mornings over the Irish Sea. Bed was ok to lay on and the location of the hotel was just perfect with free on street parking to the side of the hotel.

Cleaner needs to double check their work as there was a toothbrush left behind in the shower on top of the shower gel from the previous person that had stayed in the room. There was no spoons left in the room to make a cuppa in the mornings. Carpet in the corridor needs attention as well as dusting the fire extinguishers which are full of dust on the top of them. TV in the room was a bit awkward as it was on the wall by the window which meant we had to either be laying on our sides or twist our heads to watch. Would be better if the TV was on the bathroom wall where it would’ve been easier to watch whilst laying on the bed.

Smelled beautiful and lovely and clean. Our room had fabulous views and had been refurbished with new beds and bathroom. Fantastic staff, especially Nathan and Ian, but all the staff are lovely. Food awesome and it’s great you can take your four legged family member too.
