Pros +

  • Staff was polite and it was near where we were going
  • Nothing.dirty rooms.showers full of mould .2out 6 room doors would not lock.holes in walls . none of the TVs worked. Would have walked out but with it been new year's eve impossible to find 6 more rooms anywhere else
  • Close to where we wanted to be

Cons -

  • Room wasn't as requested, we were given what was left. Both doors to the room wouldn't lock. One was permanently open slightly so they put a single bed in front of it. The main one could be pushed open so wasn't secure. Main light in the second room was smashed and barely any lights worked. The double bed had the double duvet as the sheet and the duvets from the 2 single as the top. Didn't do alot to help keep warm in a very cold room.

Not the best place I've ever stayed, but for the money it was fine..Good value for just one night.Everything we needed was there, for one night. Great location for bars and clubs. If you want whistles and bells this is not the place for you .The staff were friendly and helpful

Room was cold. Heater provided.A bit run down and rough around the edges.

Worst experience in a hotel

It was freezing cold, no heating, we had 3 little plug in heaters(they were also broke) and it was still cold, window wouldn’t shut properly so there was constant draft, 3 tvs in the room and not one of them we could use, bathroom was mouldy, one of the beds had a huge dip in it, really wasn’t a good experience to have when you have 3 kids with you, the room was nothing like the pictures shown on booking.com

Location

Very cold. No towels. No cups

1RachaelPosted on: 12-22-2025

Absolutely nothing

DO NOT BOOK!!!! The place is filthy, if it hadnt of been so late and we hadnt got our 1 year old with us we wouldnt of stayed here. We had a family room for 4 that for some reason had 2 double beds and 2 singles. There is no heating on in the whole building it was freezing, i went to ask for our radiator on cuz of the little one but all he could do was give me a little blow heater. The bedding looked like it hadnt been changed, every bit of furniture was falling apart, the bathroom was disgusting, it definitely hadnt been cleaned as we discovered when lifting the toilet seat up and the shower was full of mould. The windows are broken so drafts coming through constantly. There was 3 tv's in the room but not one had a remote. There wasnt anything about this accommodation that was positive. It needs condemning

1PaigePosted on: 12-7-2025

Nothing! The place was disgusting. The man is rude. Avoid!!

Everything. Blood all over the place. All furniture is broken! Mould all over! Wouldn't even let my dog stay here!!

1KathrynPosted on: 12-3-2025

Never Again!!!

No heating in any of the rooms, absolutely freezing for this time of year (November) with my 7yr old too. The room was disgusting, really dirty, no hot water, no kettle, absolutely nothing like what I was expecting and I paid £120!!! And received £10 back as a refund.

Location

It was filthy and very smelly. The room carpet was dirty, full of bits. The ceiling was badly stained, all surfaces were thick with dust. There was a kettle but no coffee etc and the 2 cups and spoon were dirty from previous people. The wardrobe had sticky spillages in the bottom. The bathroom was dirty and thick with mould, broken and stained blinds, no toilet roll. Toilet seat old and stainedWe didn't even unpack it was so bad, we left within half hour

1RalphPosted on: 12-3-2025

Bad

The room had no curtains, broken blinds, mess all over the window ledge, mould in the bathroom and crumbs in the bed. The heating didn't work. In the end we did t even stay we packed up and left

Location very good

Room was freezing no heating had to go to bed fully dressedTV did not workWi-Fi very very weak one bar.

1TerryPosted on: 12-2-2025

I liked the exit door, on the way out, there was no way we would stay with a 3 month old baby in damp, mouldy, dirty rooms.

All of it

2CarrickPosted on: 12-2-2025

Nothing, apart from location

No wardrobes, drawers were infested with little critters

1AngelaPosted on: 11-29-2025

Location

Everything, booking was nothing like what was shown on website. Mould on towels, vomit on wall near bin. Marks on headboard. No breakfast available, even though it said breakfast included on booking. Avoid at all costs.

4MattPosted on: 11-29-2025

Room was warm because it was at the top of the building and the heater was permanently on.

Room was dated and dirty, I had to clean it myself on check in, hazy greasy mirror and dirty coffee cup firstly, bedding had toucan prints on and should be plain starchy white.I sat on the stool at the dressing table and it had loose legs causing a topple and I was lucky not to put my back out on hitting the floor. The door didn't lock so I had to keep my belongings in my car a few streets away :-(There was an Ironing board in the room that was buckled and didn't stay level so ironing was a risky challenge. The only positive about this stay was the location.

3SallyPosted on: 11-25-2025

Location was the only positive

Uninterested owner. Absolutely grubby / dirtyTelevision didn't workKettle and coffee provided but no mugs. Toilet stained

1AndrewPosted on: 11-24-2025
