    Pros +

    • Host was a lovely mix of extremely pleasant and friendly, without being overbearing. Price was right, location was easy to get to and right near the beach.
    • The owner was nice
    • Very clean owner met us at reception and instructed us about the keys very pleasant and comfortable. Lovely dining area and pool table area, nicely decorated would definitely stay again.

    Cons -

    • Shower pressure was very weak, cleanliness was not ideal, but it was good enough. It was as though I'd booked a room at my hard of seeing Nan's and it was homey but not professionally clean. The owner did help as much as was possible and was very kind.
    • The room was tiny and very run down. There were stains on the ceiling and walls. Owner was pleasant enough but we checked out after 2 hours and booked into another hotel. I really would advise the owner to invest in a cleaner and a decorator
    • £200 for one night and there was a £10 parking fee as soon as we got there considering there were only 3 parking spaces behind the hotel, there was dust from drilling into the walls all over the windowsil, the bathroom had no toilet roll, there was a hole in the floor,The shower was cold water so no hot water, the sink tap splashed all over the floor, the lift did not work, there was wallpaper that had been ripped off all round the room, 2 plug sockets for 5 people,we left after being there for 2 hours, disgusted with the service and the room for £200 for one night it was not worth it, no way it's a 4 star hotel,I would rate it 1 star,

Great hotel, the owner made us feel welcome and allowed us to check in and park early which was greatly appreciated. Great location, very close to the Pleasure Beach

    Location and access to attractions.

Smallest tv on the wall I have ever seen. Room clean but bathroom could do with some TLC , breakfast very very poor, toast and corn flakes plus tea in cardboard cups . Additional pay for car park £10

    The location

Receptionist didn’t know what he was doing on arrival an hour after we were allowed to check in and got minimal info.Sheets were stainedRooms were tinyBed was uncomfy1 plug available and that was it

Hotel was clean, owner was friendly and chatty. Let us check in earlier than we should have, as we were meeting family. Bed was comfy.

Didn’t have the included breakfast as it was continental only, served with paper plates and cups with plastic cutlery.

The hotel was clean, the owner was very friendly and was kind enough to let us check in earlier than the stated time, as we were meeting up with family.Beds were very comfy, had a great sleep.

Only downside was that breakfast was included in our booking. However, it was continental only and on paper plates and cups with plastic cutlery.

The property itself was well maintained and was ideal for a night stay, the room was a bit small but for just a couple it was more than ideal

The add said that it was breakfast included, with this I was expecting a full English with serve yourself cereal and toast however when breakfast came there was no full English and it was just serve yourself cereal and toast and make your own coffee, also the parking was £10 a day which was not bad as we got there at 3pm and was out for 10am but would have liked it if I could have parked there all day the next day as I had to move the car the next day and had to pay for longer somewhere else

    9JamiePosted on: 12-2-2024

Friendly welcome with an easy check in and was even allowed to check in early at no extra cost, room was perfect for what we needed it for and definitely big enough. Perfect location! We would definitely stay again. The owner was so friendly and polite. The children loved it ?

No complaints, yes it needs updating but so does the rest of Blackpool. But it was perfect for a little weekend get away.

    the room was nice

bed was on the hard side .tv was to small . Breakfast was basic. toast, jam, cereal . tea or coffee and orange . would have liked a cooked breakfast

    5LaurenPosted on: 11-25-2024

    Had parking

Didn’t serve a cooked breakfast , someone had a fag and set the fire alarm off at 3am woke everyone up , got there late last night and he wanted us out still at 10am deffo wasn’t worth 40 pound for the night

    2MarkPosted on: 11-23-2024

    Very poor

Two youths standing outside room door in middle of night when questioned them they made excuses they were lost.Fire alarm at 4 in the morning then going of every 5mins after , no staff at 8.15 to hand keys back. Says parking but told not room for a standard size van,

    3ElenaPosted on: 11-17-2024

    The location

Horrible decor ,the furniture was old and dated , terrible bed woobly mattress and head board, dark colors towels (i guess we know why) ,dark colors sheets , windows drapery had holes in them .

    8StephenPosted on: 11-11-2024

Great basic hotel, clean and good staff

    £10 for car park

    4AlanPosted on: 11-4-2024

Really great location for pleasure beach, piers and trams etc. Friendly owner who is quite chatty.

State of bathroom was extremely poor - very tired and run down. Needs investment to raise standards. Not somewhere you want to linger. Floors are spongy. Owner hovers round you when using lounge and having breakfast - not a huge deal but I am away with my family on holiday and want to engage with them rather than the owner. Being charged for parking is ludicrous.

owner was exellent and very polite and was really nice with my children and couldn't do enough for us
