    Pros +

    • Great Friendly Staff Parking outside for additional charge Options to have early check in and late check out at a charge Was very cold that weekend but they kept the heating on that was good as we had a 2 year old with us so we didnt get cold We had our own key Fob so we could come and go as we wanted
    • Staff nice and friendly helpful
    • Nothing as such

    Cons -

    • Hardly any heating
    • This stay was wholly unacceptable and unsafe. The room was unfit for occupation due to a significant gap in the window, allowing continuous cold air to enter the room. The heating system operates on a restricted timer and does not function overnight, causing the room temperature to drop to unsafe levels. We were staying as a family with multiple children, one of whom was shivering from the cold and unable to sleep. This situation posed a clear health and safety risk to children and represents a serious failure of the hotel’s duty of care to provide safe, habitable accommodation. The issue was reported to the lady at reception, however we were informed that nothing could be done and that there were no alternative rooms available to move us to. Despite being made fully aware of the risk to children, no solution or support was offered.During the night, there was no staff available at reception, making it impossible to seek further assistance. The contact number provided on Booking.com did not work, and multiple messages sent through the Booking.com app received no response. As a direct result of these unsafe conditions and lack of action, we were forced to check out after just 1 night, despite having booked and paid for a 2-night stay. This decision was taken solely to protect the health and wellbeing of our children. This experience constitutes a serious breach of basic accommodation and health & safety standards. I would strongly advise families, particularly those with children, to avoid this property. This matter will be escalated further with the booking platform.
    • It was very cold because the heating wasn't working very well. And I couldn't use the shower.

The location was in a good position to everything.

It was very cold because the heating wasn't working very well. And I couldn't use the shower.

Nice seaview decent sized bedroom, basic but clean. Rest of hotel very tatty and dated needs serious upgrade repair. Staff very helpful.

+ Location + Easy check-in/out+ Close to Grocery shops, McDonald's and Pub

    - Very outdated and basically run down place- quite dangerous floors & stairs conditions throughout whole building - no remote control to the telly which cause problems with switching on the device - very limited coffee & tea- water condensation inside windows- scruffy looking (but very helpful and polite we need to admit!) staff

    Wouldn’t recommendc cancelled us 2...

Nothing, we got our room cancelled at 11:30am when we was checking in at 1pm and had already set off on our 2 hour drive to Blackpool, we booked a double bed and 2 single and they offered us a double bed and a single instead. I got told if I cancelled through booking.com a manager would authorise it asap and it’s now 2 days later and still no refund, even though we had to then pay for another hotel

Nice big room friendly staff clean decent TV nice sea view

Cramped toilet I've got long legs and found it hard sitting could do with lick of paint

    1RebeccaPosted on: 10-28-2025

    Sea view room was nice

Everything else! The hotel is filthy, the room was freezing and nothing worked! There were no bath towels and the bathroom was the dirtiest I have ever seen. I complained about the temperature of the room but was told that boost was on and it would warm up. It didn't. My daughter was up crying in the night and if we hadn't of travelled so far I would of driven home

    Never again

Not as detailed on booking.com not able to use shower no toiletries , 1 towel between three of us no facilities for breakfast 10 cash car parking and so noisy with other guests , no sleep at all ,

    4MelissaPosted on: 10-26-2025

    The location

Room very dated and not quite up to standard, down to marks on walls, paint jobs and outdated carpets etc through out. No hand towels etc in bathroom and ones that were there were rusty. Booked 2 rooms and would assume they would be close together but were not. Noise from the downstairs bar at nearly 4am wasnt acceptable especially in a room with a child. Altho stated family hotel it clearly is not catered for kids on a saturday night. Hosts not very accommodating and bar etc not stocked adequately.

    8JohannePosted on: 10-26-2025

Although dated the room was clean and beds comfy.

    It needs updating.

Location right near all amenities sea view amazing car parking easy straight outside building

No lift working but was warned on advance

    Location

The hotel needs alot of tlc. The parking price was £10 per night which I think is wrong when you have paid that much to stay. There was leaking water from the roof from somewhere and staff knocking on our doors at night asking if we are having a shower which we wasn't and there was no hot water.

    7RebeccaPosted on: 10-23-2025

    Price & location

Not much amount or choice of drinks

    3CourtneyPosted on: 10-23-2025

    The location was good.

The location of the rooms were up very steep stairs, the carpets were old and ripped, the handrails were dirty and sticky. The rooms smelt damp and musty. I had to open all of the windows and buy an air freshener from the local shop to spray in our room. There was a hidden fee for parking, which we were unaware of before arriving. When we arrived, the staff were gossiping about other customers which was not respectful. I would definitely not recommend staying here.

    8CharlottePosted on: 10-17-2025

Very welcoming and the kids loved the facilities in the bar area

A little run down, I feel the photos were a little misleading. However it was still a lovely stay for my little family.

    5CarolinePosted on: 10-13-2025

No restaurant here so cannot eat. Bedroom clean comfy. Great view from the window to the front - only reason we booked here. The whole hotel needs a massive makeover and overhaul. Very old, worn, outdated, tired. It needs thousands spending on it as its not good enough as it is.

    Worn out and old.

    7BeckyPosted on: 10-3-2025

It was close to town there was parking and a good selection of things for the kids to do

The WiFi wasn't good didn't go past the top of the stairs. The room was cold there was limited heating not great when it had rained and we were soaked through. Window in the room didn't close tight so there was horrendous draft coming through into the room had to wedge it closed

The 2 ladies who work here absolutely amazing women. My daughter is autistic so new places to her are a massive issue with feeling comfortable. Wow she really took to the elderly lady here in fact I think that much she would of stayed there with her . But both the ladies made it so good for the children while it was really bad weather outside the sat happy colouring and reading can't wait to go back . Definitely a credit to this hotel them 2. Rooms was lovely and clean as well.
