We had the most lovely weekend away. The room was lovely spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had everything we needed. It was so peaceful and quiet, which is just what we wanted. Chris was really pleasant and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend 100%We would also recommend the comedy club behind the tower. It was so funny, amazing night.

Chris was very friendly and welcoming on arriva informative with info about local transport anc places to visits. The room that we staved in was excellent so comfortable and cosy with a lovely view of the sea and the illuminations at niaht Rooms are very nicely decorated. Particularly loved the table lamp and seats in the bav window. The shower was exceptionally gooo excellent power and good heat also very handy having a separate toilet from the shower in the room. Bed was very comfy with a nice decent sized TV on the wall perfect for a lying in bed watching a film after a day exploring. Room was also very clean and fresh with a good tea tray Breakfast was delicious with a qood choice and very well cooked. Excellent selection of fruit iuices too. Chris was again very friendly during the breakfast service taking the time to get to know guests. We also enjoyed hearing what others were planning to do and exchanging how thinas had went the dav before at breakfast Loved the location awav from the hustle and bustle but tram stop only about 2 mins from door and the tower stop is about 10 minutes from thereHiqhly recommend, we are hoping to return next year. I

We had to rearrange our dates due to a show being cancelled and we were accommodated with no issues , clean, comfortable, lovely breakfast, parking ( which was a big factor in our booking) and a lovely host

Location was good but got to places on trams which we enjoyed, stayed in spruce hotel room nice and cozy, clean, bed was very comfortable, staff friendly, great breakfast, would recommend this place, definitely would be going back in future

Excellent - seafront location with parking, on tram link, quiet location, excellent breakfast, spotless room, slept like a log - will definitely return. Hosts have excellent knowledge of the local area and history. It was a five star stay.

Smart, clean, and comfortable hotel in a great location with easy access to the town and its sights, a great night’s sleep and fabulous full breakfast, from hosts who are passionate about their business and guests.

Myself and my partner stayed at the Fossil Tree for four nights, and we were absolutely blown away! The owners are really lovely people and very knowledgeable RE: the local area and things to do. The room was super comfy and the breakfast was AMAZING.Honestly, I know I've already said that the owners are lovely, but it really deserves a second mention. We felt right at home and immediately welcome. If you're thinking about staying here, do it - you won't have any regrets.

Nothing - if we come to Blackpool again, it's a no-brainer.

Chris and Christine were excellent hosts and looked after us very well. The hotel was clean and we had everything we needed. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was excellent every day.

Beautifully decorated well maintained exceptionally clean, the couple who run this Chris and Christine have got it down to a fine art, extremely helpful and very professional.

Perfect location on the North shore. Just far enough out of town to be in a quieter neighbourhood but close enough to walk into Blackpool centre or to Bispham. Chris and Cris were the perfect hosts and very knowledgeable about the area and things to see and do. They even upgraded our room which was a nice touch. The fantastic breakfast starts the day off perfectly and I would highly recommend staying here. As an aside, if you like Italian food book yourself a table at the Terra Nostra in Bispham. Do yourself a favour and book yourself a stay at The Fossil Tree!

Not much to criticize but you need to be aware that the hotel does not have a lift so be prepared for steps.

Everything chris and Christine were professional friendly and nothing was to much trouble room was amazing food was the same everything was perfect and I will be returning

Both Christine and Chris made us feel very much at home and couldn’t do enough for us. Our room was lovely breakfast amazing. Would definitely go back again.

Nothing to dislike

Very nice hotel , comfortable and in good conditions , room was spacious, friendly staff , good food for breakfast , car park available. Very good location , around 10 minutes from the centre by car or tram .

Didn't have fridge in the bedroom, noisy because can hear other clients walking and having a shower. No buffet available for breakfast, you have to order by menu and wait for food.
