Tropics Beach Hotel

Hotel was clean and tidy very quiet when checked in which was a breeze louder at night as we was on the front but didn’t disturb us Great location only very short walk from Blackpool North and easy access for bars, Clubs etc

Just the noise but like I said it wasn’t a problem for us

Clean, fantastic location very comfortable.

On suite facilities, bijou but okay.Bed was 10 out 10 slept like a baby when I got back.Nice to have a TV.Glad to have own key and front door be open all night.Well lit room.Super comfy bed.

Stated a non smoking room, quite obvious someone had been smoking in the bathroom, the smell lingered.Carpet was very dirty as was the window sills and sink. Didn't even attempt a shower.Water pressure was poor.Poor tea tray for £80Better plug socket arenagemnt not close enough to the mirror.Overall would of been happy to pay £50 max for that room. Although grateful for the on suite.

Close to the promenade. Good if you are partying it is close to bars and clubs.

When greeted at the property it seemed the owner was in a rush, handed us the keys and left to go to his other hotel. Was no towels in the room, owner said he would be back in 5 mins to give us some. He didn’t return. When we got back to hotel around 10pm there was still no towels. Think we were next to the boiler room or something (room 2) as all night there was a buzzing sound coming from other side of the wall. Didnt fall asleep until around 3am as me and my partner are very light sleepers. Didn’t stop until I woke up at 6am from a girl singing loudly in the hotel corridor. I would not stay here again. Really disappointed.

Staff was great explained a lot to us and was very friendly. Clean rooms too and great location.

Clean, comfortable, basic accommodation. Room slightly larger than the norm.Great location for our needs.

Some music noise from club next door, but not excessive.

Was in a good area not a far walk to the sea front , bed was comfortable and the man that greeted us to show us room was welcoming

Wouldn’t stay again as didn’t have a very good sleep due to other parties in the hotel returning around 3am very loudly and waking both me n my partner so think it should be monitored better so other people aren’t getting disturbed

Great location, was a quiet night so can't speak to the noise when it's busy.

The wifi didn't work. Connected but no Internet.

It was clean and modern, close to the bars. Parking could be an issue but honestly, a great place to stay if you just need somewhere to get your head down and freshen up

It was really clean, tidy and spacious in a family room. We needed the heating on as it was a cold weekend, and the room warmed up really quickly.

tv to high for watching in bed .a toilet in bed room would have been better

Ideal location , comfortable room , very clean

Only down fall is no breakfast and if you wanted to go for breakfast you would have to take a walk to find somewhere apart from that no problem at all

The hotel was in a good central location

There was no staff on site, you called a number a and a guy turned up with a piece of paper and a pocket of keys. The piece of paper did not have the accurate information on, he them left and returned with his mobile device with the accurate information but did not have the right keys, all of this was whilst we were stood in the small hallway with our luggage (a group of 8 of us) and the man had zero customer service skills. Once we had overcome the check in challenges and our rooms were allocated that we were not shown to and had to find ourselves they were inadequate to say the least my husband and I were allocated room 3 which had a double bed in but was in reality a single room at best. The bedsheets were stained by bleach, there were numerous holes in the walls and what looked like chilli sauce smeered on the bathroom door. There was only 1 plug socket in the room and the room only had blinds that were not adequate for privacy or blocking light. Our friends in our party were also allocated rooms 1, 2 and 5 which all had similar issues. Room 5 the shower did not heat up and the tap in the sink would not turn off, though this room was a decent size. Room 2 had a shower over a bath but no shower curtain/screen and the bathroom door had been cut so that it could shut past the toilet and the bed was somethingfrom the 70s. Room 1 was a twin room and also had a numerous of issues.Due to no stand on site this made it difficult to express our concerns and unfortunately we were unable to secure another hotel due to strictly come dancing being in Blackpool whilst we were visiting.Overall very disappointing stay and I will not be returning or recommending

Someone went in my room while I was out and left a bottle top in the bathroom and it smelt of weed. My room was clean and nothing was on the bathroom shelf when I went out for the evening.The lock on the door was removed from the inside to prevent dead locking yourself in

Location great. Owner very friendly & met up in cuban bar next to b&b. Everyone was so friendly. Had a fab time.

Small room clean, staff good.Its room only no staff onside but you can call via phone wifi was OK just scan code and put on phone.i don't think I would stay again but mostly due to noise and cost I have paid lest and stayed in nicer places.

This hotel is near a noisy nightclub, so sleep was hard with the booming noise for hours.

Very flexible as we wanted an early check in. Rooms clean and bed so comfy!

Could not find any fault ?

The gentleman who greeted us and showed us to our rooms was fantastic! He explained everything and was really helpful! We arrived at the hotel around 9 o’clock (check in was before 8 so we was abit worried) but the gentleman was there in seconds to let us in and show us to our room. The hotel is in a great location close to the train station, bars and the beach front! The room was clean and had fresh towels and a lovely selection of tea and coffee. The bed was so comfortable too.The Cuban bar next door is owned by the hotel, and is lovely and cosy with a great atmosphere. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Nothing large to dislike, the shower door stuck a couple of times, there’s no hair dryer in the room and we could hear people passing our room and it sounded like someone was knocking on the door.

We always book to stay here. Lovely & clean and roomsize is great. Very close to all areas we visit so its perfect.Booked again for next year ?
