Cons -

  • EverythingPaid £79 for one night, check in 4pm checkout 10am, stayed for birthday weekend. 2 adults and 1 child. Didn't realise there was no receptionist and you get a code for a key box on email. I had already knocked on some ones door thinking it was an office as it was all glass but then saw some one sat on a bed through the broken blinds!!! Walked past a door that said dining room???? Rubbish left outside another room for 2 days. The door to the room is extremely heavy and not fit for purpose. Its supposed to be a fire door but has large gaps where the handle is and all along the bottom. Carpet was paint stained and had not been vacuumed. The window had bird mess all down it, the blind was broke so wouldn't close properly, another guest let their dog in the yard but did nothing to stop it barking and there's no staff on site to complain to. Crip packet and other rubbish behind bedside furniture, the power cord for the TV is ridiculously placed where my 5 year old could have got entangled in it. Luckily i have a brain and sorted it. Aerial cord just shoved under the chair, the bin had an empty compost bag which we were meant to use as a liner. mismatch of plates and cutlery. Kettle already had water in it, no tea or coffee facilities, fridge was very loud and propped up on some polystyrene. Paint was so bad on the walls it was bubbling and hanging off. Mold on ceiling covered up with paint. THE BATHROOM 80's style bathroom with the dirtiest shower and sink ever. The limescale was so caked up and thick, i'm surprised water even came out. The sink plug chain was rusty and the taps were the same as the shower head. The bath mat had dog hairs on it. We went out early evening and came back around 11:30pm where the front door was left open. There is no security here or notices to advise guests to lock the door. This place was disgusting. I have pictures as evidence.
  • It was pretty dirty, hair in shower, floors needs a sweep
  • Some decors seemed thrown on

It was clean and tidy and had a fridge in the room

I didnt meet anyone on arrival except someone that didn’t talk, there was no parking at property although said it did, was lack of commodities, so we had to buy our own, no bar or food on property either

Very clean, friendly staff

Tv a bit small

Unhygienic and very poorly maintained, unable to stay at the property.

We couldn't stay at this property. In short, the property was unhygienic, badly maintained and dangerous. Upon entering the property there was a really bad smell while waiting at the door. In the room we booked there were hairs in the bed, stains all over the carpet, marks and dust all over the side units, stains and marks down the walls and door, stains on headboard and torn bed headboard cloth, debris over the carpet, dangerous broken glass on the carpet, an absolute hazard, mouldy shower cubicle, unclean toilet. After the manager attempted to convince us it was all fine and we should stay in this terrible room regardless of condition, he eventually gave in and offered an alternative room, it hadn't been cleaned, food plates with food everywhere, bed not made up, cigarette lighters, smell of smoke, rubbish on floor, we asked if he had anywhere else, he showed us a flat upstairs, on the way we discovered brown stains dripping over the banister and stairway. Sadly the flat (suite) was even worse, excrement in the toilet even though he said it had been cleaned, mouldy bathroom, greasy finger smudges and stains all over kitchen units and worktop, cooker filthy with grease and black drips and splatter, carpet not cleaned, side units dirty, absolutely disgusting, unclean, unhygienic. No other rooms available. Since we couldn't stay in this absolute hazard, the manager said to contact the owner via booking.com for a refund, we did this and the owner declared we needed to mark the booking as a 'no show' to obtain a refund without him being charged by booking.com, we checked with booking.com, they confirmed the owner is absolutely able to refund us without marking as a 'no show' and that we had arrived at the property to stay so shouldn't need to do this.

The layout of the apartment was great, every room had a shower.Very helpful friendly staff.Ideal for a small group of friends.

4JPosted on: 2-28-2025

The staff were nice, it had a fridge & TV.

It was very dirty, I cleaned all the room surfaces with a damp towel: bedside table, fridge, dressing table & sink and the white towel was very dirty after cleaning. The walls had drink and/or food spilled on it.The floor was never vacuum cleaned. The toilet smelled of urine. In essence even if the price is cheap to clean the room is a minimum requirement.

Was cheap but still expect a clean room

Dirty and unpleasant smell throughout Bathroom needs a good clean

10AmyPosted on: 2-17-2025

We stayed at the house on sherbourne, it was like home from home. Place was clean and had everything we needed. I have left a sentimental necklace at the property and they have said they will post it to me ❤️

We liked everything

7KevinPosted on: 2-6-2025

It was clean, quiet, warm and comfortable. The guy who took us to the room was very polite and helpful. Lovely and clean.

Bit of a strange check-in with waiting around and no one to deal with me. No tea or coffee. The tv cable wasn't long enough to safely use. Very small room, but it was advertised as a small double, I suppose.

5AndrewPosted on: 1-28-2025

Clean room.

No tea, coffee or toiletries Have to have your own Amazon subscription to watch the TV.

Smelly , dirty , shower did not work no hot water , no central heating , no lounge area , rubbish in frontgarden ,Looks like a dhss hotel and claim to be 3 star this is absolute nonsense avoid this place at all costs

Nice clean roomHouse manager welcomed us on arrival Also, on hand to get the television working for us

Requested lower level and had two sets of stairs to walk up. Was told there isn't a ground floor suite. However, with my mobility issues, I couldn't manage the stairs.also where was the kitchen and lounge area?

2SorinaPosted on: 12-30-2024

3DemmiPosted on: 12-2-2024

Poor value for money Stained carpet Mucky towelsOne of windows were cracked on outside

1KevinPosted on: 12-2-2024

Not good for price

Absolute disgrace of a hotel for the money I paid, got in the room to dirty towels, the door wouldn't fully open it was broken, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone

10DarrenPosted on: 11-4-2024

The ground floor apartment was absolutely spot on for a family of 7, it had everything we needed it felt like home to home, infact the sofas were more comfortable than ours ? the kitchen was lovely and fully equipped, two bathrooms? Did not expect that! Absolutely would stay again and the staff so friendly and there if needed x

20 minute walk to the hustle and bustle but guess what there's a tram stop 3 minute walk away so it wasn't really a problem

8PenelopePosted on: 10-21-2024

Huge amount of space whole ground floor apartment.

Could do with a mirror in the first bathroom

6DenisePosted on: 10-14-2024
