    • This hotel is brilliant Sue and Mark are doing an amazing job at running this hotel. The location was great for us being so close to the tower and all the attractions. We were in a family group with two rooms both were absolutely spotless with plenty of room and comfy beds. The breakfast was great value for money and really tasty and the breakfast room is lovely. The bar in the evening was brilliant for us all drinks reasonably priced and little activities and games for the kids to be entertained while we had a glass of wine after a busy day. We will 1000% book again at this hotel when we next visit Blackpool. It was my mother in laws 50th birthday and Sue and Mark really went above and beyond to make it special and we had a brilliant weekend.

    • This is our second time here. There is nothing the owners won't do for you if they have the power to. The anniversary card they gave us and the little present for our daughter were especially touching. The instructions given are clear, the rooms were spotless with a wonderful breakfast each day to get us going.Perfectly positioned to be close to the sea but far enough to be a quiet and peaceful night sleep.

    Cons -

    • Absolutely nothing to mark it down on.
    • There was nothing that I didn't like, I am already planning to book for my next trip in 2026.
    • Toilet and heating need attention. Many flights of stairs to reach the upper rooms. Shower was only just large enough to get into

Everything about the Clifton Private Hotel was perfect. Mark and Sue were amazing hosts, the hotel was so clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful and there was plenty of tea and coffee in the room. The breakfast was perfect with cereals and a cooked breakfast on offer along with fruit juices and teas and coffee. I really could not fault this hotel especially considering some of the other hotel/B&B offering in Blackpool.

There was nothing that I didn't like, I am already planning to book for my next trip in 2026.

Lovely hotel, run by friendly people offering a great service. The location was great, just a short walk to the winter gardens or seafront. The room was newly decorated and very comfortable. The included breakfast was spot on. All in all a great stay and would highly recommend.

Breakfast was nice. Most of the family took the cold options so cant comment too much on the cooked breakfast. Kids were catered for well.

Nothing really The family would have benefitted from a slightly bigger room but the buildings in general around this area are all designed like this so not a big issue for us. It did us well for the time we were there.

Everything was within walking distance. Questionable weather but isn't it always this time of year. Friendly staff, food was good. Bar was stocked.

Room was good and clean, and shops and amenities just 10 mins from hotel, staff very friendly and food was nice .

No lift in hotel, room on 2nd floor and climb 2 floors to room, .could have had lift , much easier for my partner to get to room,

Comfy bed and the room was a good temp, breakfast was good with a good range of cereal and cooked breakfast was decent Great games in the lounge area The lady was a lovely host Very clean

Cold and tiny shower, couldn’t wash my kids because it was very temperamental The older gentleman seemed like he didn’t want us there and he was a bit rude and made us feel unwelcome, ruined our experience there

    9KelliePosted on: 11-11-2024

Perfect location. Parked up in the Houndshill car park only 5 minute walk from the hotel. Never had to go back to the car at all for the rest of the weekend. Staff were friendly and hotel very clean.

The bathrooms were on the smaller side, but didn’t stop us doing what we needed to do. Also heating was pre-set to come on at certain times which made the rooms VERY warm, especially when coming in from the cold with a sudden change in temperature. We ended up having the window open most of our stay.

3rd floor room is not suitable for those with mobility problems I would request a lower floor if booked again
