    • What I liked at this hotel was that the staff was very kind and that it was close to the sea
    • Location
    • We didn't stay at The Royal Carlton as it was closed for Renovation so they put us in their sister hotel The Royal Seabank which was a little bit in need of Renovations the curtains in the room was barely hanging other than that it was very nice and comfortable breakfast was Just enough and the evening meals 3 courses were delicious

    Cons -

    • I did not really like the hotel especially the room where I stayed because there was no sea view as described on the internet at the description of the room. I wanted a room overlooking the sea and I got a room overlooking a building.
    • We had booked the sister hotel to this but it’s not ready so had to stay in another one

    Deeply disappointing and unsuitable for...

I did not like the fact having booked this accommodation, was transferred to The Royal Boston and although it included breakfast, the first room was unsuitable for a disabled adult. Breakfast at the Boston was chaotic and tables too close together causing issues with hot drinks. Table covers were filthy and badly stained and I have ended up with food poisoning attributed to the breakfast which was poor not to mention lukewarm.

hotel booking was canceld by hotel was told room not available due to mainteance was offered boston which turned out to be not suiable for my disable needs and a long way from original area booked

l never stayed the the Royal Carlton as l was transferred to the Royal Seabank the day before l arrived

The hotel l was transferred to was brilliant. Breakfast was a good way to start the day and although l had issues with the lack of milk in the room the cleaner sorted that out the next day

    1AndreaPosted on: 5-10-2024

    7ElizabethPosted on: 5-8-2024

I loved the fact that Booking.com had told the hotel there were only 3 of us booked when in fact there were 4 of us. However the hotel trusted that my confirmation for 4 people was in fact what I paid for

    Food was ok

We were booked into the royal carlton. But moved a view weeks previous by the agent. We walked passed the Royal Carton whilst there. This Hotel looks as if it has not been open in a long time. It definitely does not look like the photos indicate. The Hotel we were moved to was definitely not the same standard.

    8AlexPosted on: 4-12-2024

I didn't really stay here in the end, I was cancelled on and referred to the Royal seabank Hotel

    Same as the likes column
