Friendly staff, good entertainment and a jacuzzi bath i. The room made the stay great. All you can eat buffet breakfast is a great idea with the plethora of Wetherspoons about.

The weather was freezing but it was January on the coast! That wasn’t the fault of the property, which was fab

The hotel could do with a refurbishment, we were put in room number 2 on the ground floor, it was small but adequate, the bathroom if you can call it that was very small, the shower was terrible, flooded the small bathroom. The breakfast was lovely, but the dining room was very dark and dingy.Everywhere was looking very tired, could do with a lick of paint. It looked as if they looked after the regular visitors before the people that aren't.The cabaret was ok, new Year's Eve a little drawn out, 6 acts, we went to bed after the 4th, if you are thinking of booking don't get a ground floor room, although we heard people saying all the bathrooms let the hotel down.

    The room and the bathroom.

The staff are kind and welcoming. They really want the guest to have a great staff. I enjoyed the afternoon entertainment. It was great to have a restaurant on premises. The location is excellent! It's on the promenade plus it is walkable to the rail station.

I fully enjoyed my entire stay. Zero complaints.

    Lovely warm room bed comfy.

Paying for parking when staying at the hotel, I feel £7.50 per night is excessive.

Location and friendly staff.Good entertainment and decent evening meal and breakfast.

Complete lack of toiletries - not even soap! Like being in a Travelodge.Finishing touches all rather tired looking.

    1ChrisPosted on: 11-15-2025

    The location was decent

The beds were really uncomfortable the first room we had was okay if you were 20 and going out for drinking. Water stains on the ceilings filler on the walls no soap in the bathroom to wash your hands toilet seat also needed replacing. Then the next room we were moved to wasn't much better still uncomfortable outdated beds and rooms TVs were very small the WiFi did not work in the rooms overall not very good for the price I paid even left early due to being uncomfortable
