Queens Hotel

Room was clean and very warm, breakfast very good, will stay there again when next visiting Blackpool.

DID NT EXPECT ENTERTAINMENT WHICH WAS EXCELLENT PLUS FACILITIES WHERE ENTERTAINMENT WAS HELD BIG AND SPACIOUS SWIMMING POOL THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT

TO ME THE ENTERANCE WAS A LET DOWN. NEW CARPET REQUIRED PERHAPS TILES???? THE HOTEL ISVERY VERY BIG AND PROVIDES SPACE FOR PEOPLE.

Been before and love it ,the breakfast and evening meal are brilliant and very tasty .The staff are friendly and game for a laugh. No matter what you do they always go one better ?? . Nothing is to much trouble for them. The servers are absolutely the best and a credit to your hotel

Location was as expected, hotel was dated and shabby both outside and in. Restaurant closed at 7pm ! Breakfast was only 1 hr. 8 till 9 am !Staff on reception very helpful to change rooms without steep stairs. Bathroom had horrible drain smell. Room small with dated decor. No water or fridge in room. Bed very clean fresh and comfortable.

The location was fairly central

The breakfast was very small, staff were unfriendly, bedroom small and tired. No ambience and we were made to feel like a nuscience just be being there. At over £100 per night I would expect better standards and service

It was great for wheelchairs only one step to get to room everything about it was great

It was a bit dear to order an evening meal if not ordered with booking no small meals for people that have small appetite

Friendly reception staff. Beautiful dining room and wonderful theatre bar and entertainment. Nice and warm in the room and basic but comfortable.

At breakfast we sat at a table, no one greeted us and advised us where to sit and a couple came to us and angrily asked us to move as they said the table had been laid out for them. This left us feeling a little upset and not a good end to our stay. If specific seating is arranged, can staff let us know beforehand or at least seat us? We have heard other peoples experiences are similar. We love the grandeur of the hotel but it was terrible weather, very rainy and there were several buckets everywhere catching drips from leaking ceilings. What a shame to allow something so special to denigrate due to lack of maintenance.

The fact that we paid £10 for an early check in and when we arrived the room was not even ready

I thought I had booked breakfist but I had pay £40 extra

Room absolutely stunk soon as door was opened with smell of sewage, flies all over,door spring thing screws were lose and NOT THE ROOM I BOOKED

Friendly staff lovely and clean rooms very spacious felt comfortable everywhere during the stay the young girl who was our server at meal times (forgot to get her name) was exceptional at her job the food was delicious I have nothing bad at all to say about this place

Beds were comfortable and the location was very nice distance from everything on the promenade. Tea and coffee was stocked daily and the stafff were friendly.

Hotel is starting to show its age, creaky floorboards, old stains on walls and fabric, could do with rennovating.

Lounge was convenient to meet our friends.

No food or snacks available at bar in afternoon or eveningBar was closed in evenngRoom was small and not clean.View of neighbours blow up doll was unusual

Excellent bedroom with fantastic sea views

Extremely poor service at breakfast. Waited well over half a hour before anyone attended us and that was after I complained

Great location tram stop just out side, bed and Pillows comfortable tea coffee facility's room very clean, breakfast was nice too, choice of cerial fresh fruit and a full cooked breakfast Restaurant staff very friendly and happy

Not really a dislike more a beware of: There is no shampoo of body was in the room so remember to take your own

Disappointing

Didn't realise when we booked that it didn't include any meals, very expensive, the room smelt awful, had to complain 3 times about it. Made me feel sick and kept me awake all night.

The breakfast was delicious & location was good. Staff were very very friendly
