Pros +
- Absolutely nothing to like about this Hotel.
- Kaz was an amazing host. Went above and beyond for us. My son threw a phone out the window onto a roof. Kaz climbed up to get it. Without ant hesitation. The breakfast was gorgeous. Our overall experience was amazing and will definitely return
- Great location less than 10 minutes walk to the Pleasure Beach park. Tram stop opposite if you don't want to walk. Breakfast was good and you could ask for what you wanted rather than just being given a plate of food.
Cons -
- I booked this for my daughter and 2 grandsons for a night away. She rang me crying regarding the state of the place. They didn't stay there. She is not one for confrontation or complaining so she made her excuses and left once they found somewhere else to stay. She said The smell inside was like stale cigarettes. The full place was filthy. The bannister rails leading to the rooms were filthy. There is too much to mention. I have added some of the photos which she sent me.
- Nothing was all great
- Unfortunately I don't think the room was worth the money paid. Second floor and the WiFi was not good, kept dropping out. The bathroom was very small. The carpets were a patchwork of bits rather than being one carpet. One power outlet was hanging out the wall rather than being properly fixed. One skirting board was hanging off the wall rather than being fixed. If we were stopping more nights I would have asked to move to another room but I don't know if they were any better.

The host was really friendly, absolutely lovely and made a huge effort to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was exceptional and huge! Great location, parking included.
FRIENDLY, CLEAN. LOVELY BREAKFAST, PLENTY OPTIONS. WE HAD AN OPTIONAL EVENING MEAL AT THE PROPERTY WHEN WE ARRIVED AND IT WAS AMAZING. THE CHEF IS 5 STAR
WE WISH WE STAY LONGER
We were very welcomed from the start. For that price, hospitality was top. Lovely decorated, spacious room with complimentary tea coffee. And the breakfast was amazing. We already booked for summer.
The owner was very friendly made you feel welcome before arriving and during the stay. Lovely views nice and quiet area. Very calm and relaxing
Very clean room. Even Kaz upgrade me to a sea view room. Very friendly as well. Nothing is too much. Breakfast was one of the best Full English I have ever had. I will bring my family next time as he showed me the family rooms. They looked very nice
Warm friendly hostGreat Seaview Convenient parkingLovely breakfast
Host was very friendly and welcoming, let us check in early, clean room, comfy beds, tea and coffee available in the room. Host cooks a great breakfast! The kids loved staying there and says they want to go again.Free parking outside the hotel and perfect location when going to Blackpool pleasure beach.
The only down was how cold the bathroom was but didn't spoil our stay.
Really nice stay here with family.. Had the suite (Room 10) which was a 2 bedroom with bunk beds for children and double bed for adults. Tvs in both rooms... Breakfast was great with large portions... For the price we couldn't actually fault this B&B at all and free parking outside, host very welcoming and helpful ... Would definitely recommend and will stay again when in Blackpool. Thank you for your kind hospitality.
Couldn't really fault anything to be honest.
The staff was really friendly, The manager moved his car so we could park outside the hotel, breakfast was amazing full English perfect
A few things popped up I didn't like but the manager was brilliant,
The owner was exceptional, the breakfast was amazing, the room was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfortable.
The amount of stairs
Unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations, making it difficult to highlight any positive aspects.
Our stay at the Alderley Hotel was extremely disappointing. The room was filthy, with broken lights, a bathroom door that wouldn't close, and an unbearable odor from the beds. We even found garbage under the beds, indicating a complete lack of cleaning. The breakfast service was chaotic; despite booking for five, we received only one meal initially. Subsequent plates were incomplete, and the fifth meal never arrived. We left hungry and frustrated. The hotel's 7.8 rating is misleading. We advise others to avoid this establishment to save both time and money. To the management: focus on genuine cleanliness and service rather than inflating your ratings.
Clean room the host was very polite always there when you needed him the breakfast was superb just enough
The room was nice and warm just too small problems the bed was too low for me it is just your preference but no chairs in the room to sit on I would go again
Nice quiet locationCooked breakfast good.Parking ok
Small room , I've used a bigger toilet on a plane!
That we had free parking and one of the owners moved his car so we could park outside the hotel. The breakfasts were great. The owners were very accommodating and friendly.
We didn’t realise when we booked that the family room was on the third floor which was too hard for my Mum to get up, but we just paid extra for a room on ground floor for her and it worked out well.
Pleasant welcome, nice and friendly host, a little dated, bar prices are expensive, nice cooked breakfast, free parking on the road to the front of the hotel.
A can of beer only carling and only a 440 ml can cost £3.50 a pack of four is only £4.00 excessively priced that's why we didn't drink any more than 1 drink each
The breakfast was ok
The bed was uncomfortable and a very thin mattress room a little dated
The free parking
The hotel smelt of chip fat.It was in darkness when we arrived (4pm). The room we stopped in was filthy. A large hole in the wall, stains in the bed. Drink spillage down the sides of the beds. Wrist bands and wrappers under and behind the beds. Curtains which didn't close and had missing hooks. The door l9ck was hanging off. The owner looked tired and was saying how quiet it was. He really didn't want to be there. The place needs a good clean or shutting down. We left early doors. I would recommend staying here.
