- Pleasant
Cons -
- A little disjointed. Room was very small for the money. Only a double bed in the room but couldn’t have fit any bigger
- We could hear voices and noise from the hallway throughout our stay. The heating/air conditioning unit was also loud. We were surprised that we had to pay for toothbrushes & toothpaste when the cost of the room was £137.
- Car parking could be an issue

The room and location are perfect.
The room heating system was poor and we had to supplied with portable heaters to keep warm.
We had a wonderful stay at the Lensbury! Very clean and spacious room with a bath, excellent service in all departments and very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for 4 nights and we felt taken care of. Definitely would recommend to anyone thinking of visiting the area.
The swimming pool is mainly for lane swimming instead of a more relaxing traditional hotel-style pool. There are no sun-beds around and there are many kids doing swimming lessons. Honestly, it didn’t bother me much but it’s good to know beforehand.
Room, breakfast and location
Lack of hot tub in spa
Beautifully presented
Tried to email and call the hotel several times to make some pre-arrangements for the room. Unforunately this was not picked up in time for our stay which was a shame
We returned to stay for a weekend and had a nice meal (friendly service), a great nights sleep and enjoyed the leisure facilities
nice location
Room very small and the hotel throughout was very tired.Booking.com shows misleading size of room and does not reflect that the room is less than 100
The room was excellent
Since our last stay a lot of the sofas in the lounge area seem to have been removed. They had been replaced by a lot of tables laid for dining, most of which were not occupied during our time in the lounge. After we'd eaten we just returned to our room as there was nowhere comfortable to sit.
Location great breakfast was ok needed more choice no orange juice scramble eggs not good
Bedroom was not the best needed more space in bathroom for your toothbrush etc some of furniture had marks on
Great location, nice atmosphere and friendly staff and amazing breakfast
This is the first time I ever post anything online in regards GENDER INEQUALITY.Rooms ok. Staff lovely. Food was good but unfortunately on my last day here, I had an extremely unpleasant situation at the swimming pool and I was told that members of the pool are favored to guests of the hotel. What happened was that I was swimming in the fast lane with 3 or 4 other men then I was told to leave unless I could keep up with their speed!!! SHOCKING. As a female, I would obviously naturally be slower than males. Then I was told that they are members and they always train on Monday morning. Well, I live in Ireland and I also take my training seriously and I wanted to keep it up whilst abroad. That's why I paid the higher fees associated to a hotel with a pool. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. They then suggested I move to the medium lane with people who obviously were way too slow for my training needs (probably 3min+)While I have a flight to catch and therefore, limited training time, we spent 10 minutes arguing about this which meant I was in distress and they wasted my valuable training time.I was swimming at a pace of just over 2'05" and when the life gaurd admitted that I was close to their speed!!! Still, I was told to either push myself to swim at 1'45" or leave. My main question is: Is the fast lane therefore ONLY for men because women will never be as fast swimmers???!!! Something to consider for the Lensbury hotel and maybe make 2 fast lanes, one for females and one for males because women will never be able to keep up. Simply because I am a female, my training was compromised in this particular situation.
Also no towels provided at the pool (they ran out!), bed wasn't comfortable, room pretty basic for the price paid, and windows impossible to open.
Staff friendly, location.
Seal on shower door broken so shower leaked
Regular vistor feels like home, grea beds, breakfast and location by the river
Leaving
Lovely place, good facilities and entertainment in the evening, also it’s right on the Thames. Breakfast was brilliant, best food I’ve had in a hotel in a long time.
The room we had was small, could barely get in with the bed being right next to the door.
Great location, clean and spacious
Didn’t want to eat in the restaurant as it has bad reviews and local people told us the food was bad. It was a shame as it would have been nice to dine in especially on a cold and wet evening.
The staff especially (Tomoko) and the location were amazing but the room was a bit out dated but bar that a lovely stay
Tv was very small, some things were missing such as water and bath robes( staff did change this after mentioning it) and not many plugs in the room
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The facilities were really nice, specially for children. The breakfast was also very nice and my family and I enjoyed our short stay.
There were small details with the room and overall the hotel but nothing major for it to have affected our stay. For example, the door to the room was chipped and worn down and let quiet a bit of light in from the corridor.
