Love how modern, clean, comfortable and well decorated it is. The location is great too.

I’ve stayed here many times and it’s a really good hotel. To make it a great hotel it just needs the following additions:Fridges and water in the roomsReplace all the TVs - none of them work completely properly and you can’t hook up anything to them Tea and coffee making facilities in rooms More selection at breakfast 24 hour room service - drinks and sandwiches at the minimum

Great location, clean, modern and decorated well

I would have liked a fridge in the room and some water to drink. All the TVs are old and need replacing - many of the channels don’t work. Also there was no information in the room about breakfast or room service plus the bar and room service seems to shut very early for a hotel

Very central which is what we wanted.

Unfortunately with it being Christmas/New Year the restaurant/bar wasn’t fully available. This is fine but not informed beforehand. Our TV didn’t work properly and the kettle didn’t switch off.

Good

Noise level: we stayed on the 4th floor in a family room. It felt like we were opposite a nightclub. On asking staff about this the following morning we were told it related to a party in the hotel function room and that guests were meant to be allocated to higher floors. Due to our later check in, level 4 was the lowest they could allocate us.

Very convenient for town centre such a short walk to shops and river

It wasn’t as clean as I had hoped, when we got there we went up to our room, there were lots of piles of dirty laundry in the corridor on the way to the room as well as dirty plates and cups outside doors. It looked like they were still tidying up the rooms however we arrived at 15:30 and I would have hoped by then considering check out was 11 that the corridors were clean, or alternatively we weren’t allocated a room on the floor where they were still cleaning. We also did not have enough towels in our room for 2 people. We used the shower in the evening and morning and both times the shower floor overfilled and water was running into the bathroom floor - it appeared the water didn’t drain fast enough which was a shame because the shower was lovely just wasn’t able to stay in longer than a couple of minutes before the water flooded the floor. It also got really hot in room even at the temperature they had set as standard, we turned it down but were really relieved when we left for some fresh air as it felt really stuffy !

The room was very nice the only thing missing was a small fridge.And we stayed for 2 nights no one came to clean on day 2 .

Exceptional

Excellent location, friendly staff. Spacious rooms, nice breakfast …… very close to shopping, dining, public transport

The hotel is in a good position for shops, restaurants & the rail station

We were disappointed with our room we paid for a superior room but it is not worth the extra money as it was the same as a standard room same view and even worse no walk in shower

Close to train station, safe environment.

No water bottles in room.

Great location and really lovely staff. Rooms were perfect and the bathrooms were great.

Ver clean, professional, kind and friendly staff. The room was nice, comfy bed and very nice bathroom and the shower side of things was exceptional wonderful. It’s a great place for celebrations too, I was there for work anual christmas party and was divine, spacious and well decorated and the food was spot on mai lt the salmon.

It isn’t a dislike but being part of Hilton I did expect a coffee machine int he room and better tv Chanel’s. The food was very nice though breakfast was sent without being covered which isn’t the most hygienic thing since it comes through lifts.

I liked the efficient way we were checked in. The room was clean and the staff friendly.

I asked for water at the reception and they said they ran out of still water. Then if they replenish they will send up. But I was neither a hilton honors gold member so they will not send it up to my room.

Good location. For an expensive hotel it was not good value.

Expensive. Average rooms. Cold lobby with revolving doors, soul less bar area with limited comfy seating.

Check in was very lengthy & the monies taken from the wrong card …not sure if the receptionist was new?

It was very close to car park, less than 2 mins

There was lots of pieces of equipment outside the window as the hotel was under renovation

Breakfast was excellent and location ideal for shops and train. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

I was on level 6 and right beside railway which started very early and kept me awake both nights.Breakfast ideal but scaffolding and builders banging was not ideal a reduction in bill should have been offered.

Wonderful location. Staff are very welcoming and the rooms are comfortable and well equipped.
