    Pros +

    • I liked the property a lot. it was near a park and the location was quiet and peaceful. the staff were friendly and the place was clean. The breakfast was good and the bedroom we stayed in was very comfortable. The bathroom was also very nice.
    • The staff were kind and accommodating at every step. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous. The food at the restaurant is great, and everything is very reasonable.
    • The best thing about this hotel was the staff, all were very helpful. In restaurant food was served promptly. Fresh orange juice in the morning was delicious.

    Cons -

    • The only downside (for us) was location. Due to a bus strike (obviously beyond the hotel's control) while we were there, we had to wait for a car every time we wanted to leave the property unless we wanted to walk 20+m to the nearest area.
    • I am a coeliac (gluten-free) and there were very few options for me at dinner. Also portions very small. The lighting in the restaurant was overhead and very cold/bright - not a warm atmosphere. Decor was drab brown and grey. Our (outside) bedroom smelt a little damp.
    • spa and pool and sauna

Was simply upset the spa sauna advertised was not available, although they had indicators with sauna and the pool was freezing cold, even when i asked to be heated it wasnt, so i am disappointed about that. But other than this, it was a very nice experience.

    spa and pool and sauna

The location of the hotel is very nostalgic to me. IT's a shame the hotel cannot cater for the surrounding clientele

helpfulness from staff. Fresh refurb of the room decor. Brown is very drab. Pool was dirty and not cleaned. Staff said it would be cleaned the next day and assured me that I would be able to speak to the manager. The manager never came

Beautiful location, lovely gardens and terrace on which we enjoyed morning coffee and evening drinks. Staff were all very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good.

The property was beautiful, quiet, great food, great service. It’s nice that they cleaned the bathroom and checked the beds each day.

Our room felt very cramped and didn’t look like the pictures. The room needs a bit more updating. The mattresses need to be replaced. The sheets didn’t fit the queen sleeper sofa and the overlay quilt was so scratchy and uncomfortable for the kids. I told them we had 4 people, but they gave us 3 towels and never brought another one when I asked. When I found the linen closet open, I took the 4th towel, and even though we hung our towels signaling that we would reuse our towels they took all of them when they cleaned the bathroom and still only gave us 3 towels.

The staff were all really helpful and friendly. The hotel had a lovely swimming pool.Great grounds and terrace.

I had to find the dining and breakfast room myself. The dinner menu is not very exciting and never changed over the evenings I was there.

Very tidy & beautifully furnished. Comfortable bed. The staff were very attentive.

No a la carte menu at the time of visiting. There is a new part of the restaurant opening, which is needed as the current one is a little tired and small

    2HolliPosted on: 7-8-2025

Parking was convenient and breakfast people were helpful! The place looks very tired needs outdoor grooming

The reception staff were very inefficient Attending Wimbeldon asked them to organize a cab for an early morning departure and found out then did not do itAlso the sink in our bathroom had no hot water was too low as well as the toiletThe bedding was awful we had a twin size duvet on a queen size bedWe did not ask for a handicapped room

We had a wonderful stay at Warren House Hotel. The location is perfect — peaceful and close to Richmond. The hotel is cosy and beautifully decorated, with a timeless charm and all the modern comforts. Everything was very clean, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They truly made our stay special. Highly recommended!

That we didn’t booked more days, we only stayed for 2 nights ?

The convenience of the position of the hotel

I originally booked a double room. My son & partner tried to get a room but you were full. I then received a call regarding changing our room for the apartment with 2 double rooms. I was delighted. Sadly when we arrived I discovered that my son had to walk through our room during the night to get to the bathroom. Also as we anticipated that we would be back before them it was not ideal as they had to disturb us to get to their bedroom. When the member of staff suggested changing to the apartment it was not explained about the bedrooms.
