Pros +
- Location; proximity to bus and train station.
- Good location and staff very friendly and helpful..
- Good location. Comfortable large room. Friendly staff
Cons -
- The staff asked us to be eco-friendly and use our towels more than one day. The staff folded our very WET towels up and put them back on the rack. So when we went to use them they were cold and wet. The food was horrible and the waitress was sloppy.
- The single room was very small
- It all felt a bit tired and a bit dated. The front steps could do with a proper hand rail. Noise from above and the neighbors was noticable throughout the night.

Great location and nice staff and nice food
The single room was very small
We had a wonderful stay at the Kingston Theatre Hotel. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly, room was perfect with extremely comfortable beds (and we received a free upgrade), breakfast was delicious, location was ideal for the theatre and an added bonus of free parking. We will definitely be booking the hotel again.
The breakfast was speedy and tasty and all the staff we encountered were lovely. The room itself was large and spacious.

Property was very pleasant, room was clean and a good size with limited but adequate facilities. Bar food was served hot and fresh with good food. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Car parking was available small spaces and limited parking spots. Bar was small with limited options.
Location and standard. Quiet yet close to Centre Breakfast very good
Could not fault it. From cheery welcome of receptionist to comfort and security in room all Marvellous
Quiet secluded location and a beautiful building away from the weekend noise but whilst also being very quick and easy to walk to the main attractions. Staff are really friendly and helpful and having parking is great.
There isn't anything I didn't like. The standard of decoration could be improved. I like classic buildings and traditional decor and this could be done more sympathetically to the style of building, but of course this would be a big expense.
Fantastic staff, great location and breakfast. The rooms could do with a bit of a revamp.
Our room was a bit tired
Warm friendly staff. Proximity to station and sight seeing.
Nothing. It was amlovely stay.
Dining area was very comfortable and had lovely flower arrangements. Tables were well presented. Excellent menu choices. Serving staff were very efficient and friendly. Breakfast itself was very good. Eggs cooked to perfection!
Nothing. It was all good.
Central to town centre, good parking, staff could not do enough for us.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Kingston Theatre Hotel in Hull, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive—striking the perfect balance between professionalism and genuine hospitality.
Overall, excellent
Friendly welcome at reception. Upgraded to executive room due to a booking error which was nice. Room spacious and all I needed. Large bathroom, comfy bed and some nice touches with things for my dog and a pack of things like ear plugs, mask and stuff to spray on your pillow for a good night's sleep. Not sure it worked. Nice meal on my first evening.
TV for some reason very erratic, wouldn't change channels, then went off for no apparent reason. No big deal. Room not too warm but did have facility to boost heating.
The Kingston Theatre Hotel is the last bastion of elegance in Hull. It is beautifully clean and dignified, with excellent staff and wonderful food.
Everything was amazing. We loved it.
Lovely welcoming helpful reception staffBrilliant location near all the main points of interest
Hair dryer not working 2 of us staying but only 1 mini shampoo and shower gel.Carpets everywhere like an old people’s home.At breakfast butter on a little dish, would much prefer sealed containers for this and sauces in a tiny pot, cup & saucer like an old people’s home. Mugs much better.
A lovely hotel with a nice little bar and restaurant. Room was clean and tidy and bathroom was spacious. Old house charm. Perfect for our requirements.
To be honest this hotel just worked well with our plans so I didn't dislike anything.
Lovely independent hotel perfectly located for getting to a show at Hull New Theatre. Very friendly and helpful staff made me feel really at home. Good food. Nicely appointed single room. Very pleasant stay overall and I'd definitely stay again if i visit Hull in future
No issues at all
Excellent breakfast, staff, location etc.
only one small thing the TV reception was terrible with the picture breaking up.
