Pros +
- Super clean, modern and spacious
- We love how peaceful and relaxing everything is. Decor is minimal in a good way, we always leave here feeling refreshed. Staff are always extremely polite, helpful and personable. Fantastic place to stay.
- Plenty of space and an exceptional bathroom. A really nice touch was the artisanal coffee setup waiting in the room on arrival (coffee pouch and a glass drip brewer with paper filters), which made for a great coffee the next morning. The room and facilities were properly cleaned throughout and it was clear care had been taken with presentation, and the atmosphere was surprisingly cosy considering the location.Internal doors were all solid and sturdy, helping isolate room-to-room noise. The bed was reasonably comfortable, although it was two singles pushed together so the middle wasn’t as comfortable.
Cons -
- Nothing to fault
- Nothing!
- For the price (£121.92 for one night, even at a reduced rate), the overall experience didn’t feel in line with what we expected, mainly due to comfort and sleep disruption. The front door didn’t seal properly. It did lock, but the latch had noticeable movement in the frame and there was around a half-inch gap, which made it difficult to keep the room warm and amplified noise from traffic and passers-by.The fridge was extremely loud and didn’t keep food cold enough overnight even at max, so our perishables had gone off by morning. The church bells nearby chimed hourly and, with older single-pane windows in the bedroom and bathroom (with a metal stay/rod), the noise carried clearly, including through the window above the bed. There was also significant noise at the rear of the bedroom overnight, increasing from around 5am with deliveries and handling. While the bathroom was beautifully done, the basics affecting sleep and comfort (sealing, noise, temperature) didn’t feel in line with the price.

Stylish, quiet, clean and comfortable
Perfect location for the minster Beautiful apartment. It had everything needed for a pleasant stay. Nice touch with radio playing when we arrived
The only downside was that there were no directions from the car park to the hotel. The weather was awful so this hampered us somewhat.
Location was great, so clean and modern and loved how nice everything was set out. The radio was on when we arrived in the room which gave it a warm welcoming feeling. High end products were a nice touch and the coffee too! Super comfy massive bed.
Nothing to mention here!
First class location in the heart of the Old Town. Easy access via keycode.Parking just across the road next to King Billy above the old Argos, Tesco express there too and Pascos Italian for a quick takeaway if needed. Winner all the way
All fab, no problems or issues at all
After my fifth residency at HIDEOUT, the empirical data is undeniable: this establishment is a statistical anomaly. While most hotels succumb to the laws of entropy, HIDEOUT remains a bastion of extraordinary decor and industrial-chic elegance that makes me feel far more sophisticated than I actually am.Key Findings:• Economic Disruption: The value for money is so high it’s borderline criminal. I consistently feel I should be paying more; staying here feels like a benevolent heist in my favor.• Service Excellence: The staff operate on the philosophy that nothing is ever too much. Their hospitality is proactive, professional, and frankly, puts my own productivity to shame.• Consistency: Five stays, zero failures. In the specialized field of "Where to Stay in Hull," HIDEOUT is the only variable that matters.Final Verdict: Do not miss this. It is my definitive, permanent choice for every visit. If you stay anywhere else, you are simply choosing an inferior reality.
It was very clean soon as we got it and comfortable, easy to settle in and enjoy. I loved the bathroom and the facilities in there the most. Bed was really comfy and kitchen was unbelievable.
Only thing I didn’t like was the windows were very hollow and could hear the wind and people shouting loudly from the pub down the street
modern apartments, right in the middle of town. excellent facilities, everything works well and is brand new.
the vent in the kitchen to keeps the apartment nice and ventilated removing excess moisture, is a bit noisy.
Location location and good design. The design was a cunning conversion of a shop unit and the bathroom excellent. Big bed comfy.
The white walls are a bit bland. Could do with some focal relief. Settee a bit low if you are 80. Knives blunt.
comfy bed, and amazing shower. the place was clean and there was milk and coffee.
the shower gel was almost empty.
The entry details and system worked well.Apartment was a great size, very clean, modern and homely.I didn't drive so cant comment on parking, but is was quite, very comfortable and close to some great restaurants and shops to pick up a few basics.
I only had a little trouble with one of the TV's but got that sorted after a few mins.In general there was nothing I didn't like and will book again.
Beautiful simple clean design. The kitchenette was a wonderful feature.Amazing location so close to everything in the old own and yet barely a sound heard over night. Communication was excellent.
Nothing it was perfect!
Rooms are always clean and tidy. Water shower has the right amount of pressure and heat. Beds are comfy and the location is ideal. Now using on a regular basis when visiting for work
Absolutely loved the little touches made in the apartment we stayed in,everything was spot on,really clean and tidy, bed was amazingly comfortable and spacious.
There was nothing we didn’t like about the property at all.
Lovely, spotlessly clean accommodation. Beds where so comfy. Had everything you needed and in a fabulous location.
Beautiful apartments, incredibly well equipped and centrally located. The apartments are stunningly presented with a homely, cosy feel. Cannot recommend enough.
Amazing location, nice modern warm rooms, good kitchen areas, good view of cathedral (right next door), earplugs provided, got a Christmas gift from the owner on arrival
I would give it 11/10 if possible. Everything was clean and comfortable and an ideal location if you are sightseeing. The staff are lovely and hospitable, they really manage to make the place feel homely. This was probably one of the best places we have stayed in and we will definitely be back!
If I have to nitpick, the only thing we had any issue with was that it got quite warm. It is understandable considering the layout of the rooms and windows. However, it was still manageable and we would still come back regardless.
