The Vale Hotel

Owner was very friendly I had booked a room with shared bathroom but he was ever so kind as to put me and my family on a room with en suite at no extra cost which was fantastic, location I found was perfect literally like a 5 minute drive to a large shopping mall and Tesco and there was other places close by like homebargins and other stores also lived how the parking was free and secured with metal electric gates overall very satisfied stay for me and my family

Didn’t effect the stay only thing that I would say needed sorting with the room I was in would be the showers drainage system as it leaks from the side and the toilet needs securing properly but this doesn’t effect there use at all

Perfect location for the MKM Stadium, safe, secure, off-road parking. Easy check-in and friendly welcome.

Friendly efficient customer service. Comfortable cosy clean room and very comfortable bed for a great night's sleep. Plenty of tea. Very cheap too.

Nothing. I was very satisfied with my stay and I would definitely aim to stay here again next time I visit Hull. I would heartily recommend this hotel.

Had to climb 3 flights of stairs to room no toilet in room had to share the guy was a little bit strange also the light in the room didnt work was going to tell the guy at reception but was nowhere to be seen

Was an absolutely lively place to stay, the place is clean and the beds are so comfy.The owners are so kind and welcoming, would recommend to people and definitely coming back again.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. They even gave a free upgrade when something wasn't working. Cozy and not too far from town.

My stay at the hotel was pleasant. The accommodation was modest but very neat, creating a simple and comfortable environment. The room was warm and inviting, and the bed offered a good level of comfort throughout my stay. Overall, it was a cosy and enjoyable experience, well-suited for anyone looking for a clean and comfortable place to relax.

No heating in the room

Room was comfatable,good tea tray and was warm.We was in room 18 found the toilet was a bit wobbely,but had no problems.

Very cheap and close to the Hull City stadium.

Decoration is very poorly done and tired. A lick of paint applied properly would smarten it up a lot.

All ok, the room was a little tired.

Reception staff at front desk were pleasant and had no issues booking in. They explained clearly the use of fobs/keys for entry to the building as well as the secure off street parking. They readily gave directions to where I was heading later that evening.Room was clean, with tea making facilities and the ensuite, if a little cramped, was an added bonus.

Was woken several times with the toilet cistern in the ensuite running over, seemingly every time another was flushed in another room. Although the bed was comfortable there were unfortunately bedbugs☹️I'd have mentioned this at reception but as I was awake early, I was packed and left before 9am the next day without seeing any staff.

A long heavy vertical mirror fell off the bedroom wall, the frame hung by a small thin screw, inappropriate for the weight. Floorboards squeaking and giving way under carpet. An electric socket for bedside light was hanging loosely, dangerously unattached to wall.An electric socket for the bed side light was hanging loosely, unattached to the wall.

Such friendly welcoming and felt comfortable and a home from home feeling, great location and very clean rooms and lovely and quiet. John is such a character with a warm, welcoming smile.

It was close to where I was going. the hull fair about five minute walk. Easy to get to. I had a very good night's sleep. it had a TV and coffee and tea & a kettle.

One of the doors made a massive noise when it closed slowly and when people went to the toilet you could hear the floorboards creek..
