I Liked the Location although I wish it had it's own car park i didn't like having to leave my car in the multi storey car park.

    No car park

This hotel offers exactly what is advertised: a convenient, budget hotel in an excellent city centre location, with all the basic amenities a budget traveller would want. Booking easy at a budget price. Staff very good, efficient and friendly. Very reasonable bar prices. Comfortable and immaculately clean ensuite room. Free Wifi. Good pub grub and generous breakfast available at fair prices. A short walk from railway station, theatres, pubs, restaurants etc.

It's hardly the hotel's fault, but the clientele, who were generally fine, included, on the night I stayed, a loud, vulgar family, yelling drunkenly, shouting at each other in the corridors, banging doors until the wee small hours, with two young lads smoking dope. The star turn was the blowsy, blonde mother, cackling and screeching solidly from 7pm until about 1am, indoors and outside the main entrance. Nightmare from hell, and interrupted sleep. Can anything be done about such fellow guests - like, maybe, shooting them?

    Price and location

Didn’t take cash payment for breakfast

    3JasonPosted on: 10-13-2025

Location and staff were as always so helpful.

The heating in my room was not working, the night staff brought me a tiny radiator and it was not going to warm a room this size and the quilt was wafer thin, in conclusion I literally had to sleep in my clothes to keep warm

Helpfulness of the staff, location and I really enjoyed my breakfast

It's not a criticism, the only thing this hotel needs is a drop off point on the side of the building on Osborne Street.

Close to train station and for meals Wetherspoons Pub.

No Tv if you don’t have private accounts for Netflix, prime, etc… no free tv channels?

Stayed at the Ibis in Hull City Centre and it was exactly what I needed — well located, reasonably priced, and had all the basic amenities for a comfortable short stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked as it should. It’s a solid option if you’re looking for something convenient and reliable without spending a fortune. Would stay again.

The staff are very helpful and friendly and care about their customers. They could accommodate my Gluten free dietary requirements easily and with no fuss. Nothing was a bother. The accommodation is basic but has all the facilities I needed and is clean and fresh. The location is very central for everything.

    Comfy bed and good breakfast.

Dated room, weird smell in room.

The staff was amazing always helpful and friendly! Pet friendly place made my dog very welcome. Location is close to sights, food, shopping, and police. We actually extended our stay a couple of times.

Nothing to dislike it was clean. Bed didn’t suit my taste but I’m sure it would be good for others. No parking for deliveries or drop off but I had no trouble with either.

In the perfect location for the Connexin and for the Restaurants/bars by the docks. We were also surprised with a little gift in the room from being the guest of the day which was a lovely touch.

Nothing to not like. Simple room but exactly what we needed.

Good central location, convenient for shops and transport links. Pleasant staff. Comfortable room with everything I needed.

The room looked onto the back of the building so was noisy very early when bins started to get emptied.

all good. perfect central location. Efficient check in and helpful staff who took care of our luggage

    8NicolaPosted on: 5-6-2025

Good service, friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, plenty of varietyComfortable beds

Rooms were rough around the edges. Needed redecorating. Cobwebs and smelled stale. Tea and coffee didn't get replaced on second day and beds weren't made properly.
