Great little find. Really lovely traditional pub with super comfy rooms. We also had some food which was excellent and really good value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful. Everything spotlessly clean and easy parking right behind the pub.

Very nice rooms. Clean and modern. Pub is amazing! Fantastic owners and staff. I met an exceptional group of regulars in the Pub. Food is amazing. Order the fish & chip with “skin on”. A 1st for me! Sunday roast is worth writing home about! I had the lamb with mint sauce. Family favourite when I was a kid. Make a reservation. Pub is on the marina. Stay here!

Are you kidding? My only regret was having to leave to go home to Canada! I’d live here if it was an option!

Really fantastic overall. Lovely pub and building, all staff super very friendly and helpful. Had such a lovely evening in the pub, and chatted to other friendly customers. My room was great - clean and comfortable. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend this hotel.

The only thing I didn't like was the terrible noise from traffic most of the night. I like to sleep with the window open, and had to get up and close the window early in the morning as it was unbearable noise. But I guess the location makes it unavoidable.

I rarely eat in the same place twice. I ate three dinners in a row here! Spacious single room. Friendly staff. Locals' pub.

A little weird of a location. But construction should be done sometime soon, I would think.

At no fault of the hotel, roadworks unfortunately spoil the view towards the marina

Amazing room with beautiful decor...there were roadworks next to the property with diversions but full details were sent for our journey. We had a drink downstairs before we went out and it is a lovely pub. The area is safe and parking was free on the retail park next to the pub. This place is top notch and we will definitely return !

When I found it courtesy of manager well impressed although very busy road wise could not hear anything so a major plus point.

Nothing to dislike got everything that I was told.

very spacious apartment. living room had everything you needed, bedroom was bigger than most hotel rooms we've stayed in and had a bath in it.shower room was neat and tidy.hosts was friendly, we had food on the first night and was very tasty.

We were really impressed with the reception on arrival and the standard of our room, with extras, I.eTea, coffee, biscuits, and toiletries,.

This is not really a negative, but staying on a Sunday and not able to sample the food .This was because it finished serving meals at 5pm , ( we were unable to get there or check in until after this time ) The reviews said the food was excellent ! We hope to try another time .

Lovely friendly staff team, super meals, nice large room including an ensuite with a bath. Although it's quite near a main road and a building site, the room was quiet. Free parking in the large retail park's car park adjacent to the pub, as long as you tell staff your car registration!

Really nice hotel and pub with great food and lovely staff stayed for work and it was a great choice I'll definitely stay again if im up that way.

Smashing stay at the Whittington.Lovely quiet room- newly decorated and very clean. Would definitely stay again.

Very good location.

The shower was a bit hit and miss, changing the mode from eco to high the temperature constantly changed between cold and hot. Water pressure was also a bit low.

We were in the Marina view room and the mattress was not that comfortable. So it really needs a better quality mattress.
