- Rooms are not hotel rooms, you are accommodated in an annex apartment building. The noise insulation is really bad (you can easily hear people talking in the corridor). Also, windows are faced by a latin pub and noise pedestrian street which makes you remain with closed windows to be able to sleep. There aren't blackout curtains. No reading lamps by the beds. At our arrival there was a bad smell coming from the pipes but this disappeared after running water and opening windows.

The was huge compared to a normal hotel room and was very capable of sleeping 3 people, but Booking.com tried to get me to book 2 apartments for 3 people, but when I booked 1, it booked for only 2 people. I had to correct this at the reception and pay a little extra for the linens and breakfast for the 3rd person.

The location is great, right on a beautiful lake
The room felt worn down, towels old, no soap just shampoo. Very basic, felt like a motel on a highway, though sheet clean and overall clean, but the price sets much higher expectations. Cracked night lamp, some partly broken fake pot flowers, small details, but i was disappointed with the room. Good we booked for one night only.

No aircondition ! Only a fan. We didn't sleep the whole night..
The apartment was very well situated with quite a nice view. The equipment was also ok.
The bedsheets was very uncomfortable and made us sweat the whole night. The breakfast was served in the restaurant with very dirty tables. The staff did not seem very interested by the guests…

The breakfast selection is quite modest but is OK to start the day. For a proper coffee and eggs, you have to ask the staff which might be off sight in the early hours.

Breakfast was wonderful and fresh. Loved the pickled fish. Staff was amazing, especially Maria. Owners were very nice. View of the lake was great. Go for a walk on the trail around the lake...it's nice. Had perogis for lunch, they were amazing. Would recommend highly if staying in Ełk.
