Hotel Schwanen

We stayed for 3 days over the weekend and travelling around the area and when return to hotel we never had a parking spot. Car park always full. This is the only part of our stay that it's a bit disappointing otherwise everything else was great ? Rooms are very clean and staff friendly. Will definitely return! Thanks!

Good hotel, but slightly overpriced.

Room too bright at night with no ability to darken. Noise from street traffic. Expensive breakfast.

The staff is super kind and welcoming, both to us and to our dog. We were booking the room in about 2 hours before arrival (right on the way on autobahn), and all confirmations and negotiations went well. Although, their parking was full, the staff kindly proposed me to place my car on their own parking spot, it was kind. Our room was on the attic, so we had not many neighbors around and the night was quiet and peaceful. It was a bit cold in the room, so we used the heater they provided in the room. We thought we will leave early morning to have breakfast somewhere else, but in the morning decided to try their breakfast. Fortunately, it was easy to negotiate at the reception, so we saved some time having quite a good breakfast at their restaurant.

1. A bit expensive (but it was a last minute reservation).2. No parks around to walk the dog.

No cooling in the room made some of the evenings a little warm.

All the staff were very friendly, we had a mix up in our booking and the kids weren't included, they quickly fixed this and provided beds. In the morning at breakfast the staff were very friendly.

The room didn't have air con, this meant we had to open the window. The room right above the extractor for the kitchen and we had loads of mosquitos come in.Room also doesn't have kettle or fridge.

We were happy with the parking-facilities, they have a 'closed' garage, great to store the car (with bikes) safely.

The parking came with another additional fee.

The accommodation was more than I expected. We booked this hotel randomly for one night in our trip but so far it was the best of all we stayed for a week of hotels during our trip :). The room was cosy and pleasant, the breakfast hall was very stylish and food very good. I liked the atmosphere.

Had a room with a single bed which was not comfortableNoise from room next door could be heard through the thin walls. Unfortunately I had a room neighbor who’s alarm went off at 4am and the guest obviously had problems waking up in the morning as the alarm kept going for one hour at least (each morning!!!) thus I was awake too.

We opted for a standard double room. The location of the room was very remote within the hotel with steps and quite dark in places.Inside, the room had a safety hazard with the headroom very low beside the bed on one side due to the roof incline.

The room was too tiny. No coffee maker available at the room. The bed very small.

Modern facilities, quite location, comfortable beds and very nice staff. Dinner and service were excellent. Would recommend it.

We arrived late (~10pm) after a long journey and the all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Even making us some lovely salad despite the kitchen being closed. Really couldn’t do enough. Room lovely, spacious and clean. the restaurant for breakfast was also a really nice setting. Would absolutely stay again.

our room was at a guesthouse behind the hotel. we are an elderly couple and had to carry our bags on several flights of stairs. the room itself was ok, but outdated.
