    Pros +

    • The only thing I can tell about breakfast is the location. We had to to cross two wings with rooms and possible sleeping residents (and annoy them with noise). Otherwise everything at breakfast was 10/10.
    • Breakfast and dinner exceptional. Kudos to Gisse. Finally someone who knows how to cook bacon correctly. 2nd time we've stayed. Will always book when in Ioannina
    • The view of the garden from the business suite made me feel like I was Louis the 14th

    Cons -

    • Bathroom needed a few enhancements. Towel hangers need to be near the sink and bathtub (so you do not need to distribute mess allover). Shower needs renovation (5 star hotels with bathtubs are outdated) but I now that they know it.
    • A little far from the castle
    • It was a touch too far outside of Ioannina for off-season I could imagine though that it would be quite a hopping place with a pool full of tourists

    Beautiful hotel with pleasant atmosphere.

The Spa, to use the spa facilities(sauna & jacuzzi) needs to pay, so it’s not a spa hotel. The Breakfast, coffee is with extra charge, why??

    9ANNAPosted on: 8-27-2025

The breakfast was really good - wide variety and fresh. the room was beautiful and nicely set up and designed - the look of the hotel was amazing and the pool area was also beautiful.

I enjoyed everything about our stay. Can't thing of anything negative to say.

we had an amazing stay for one night at Epirius Palace Hotel, the breakfast was awesome, the room clean, and the pool also amazng.the staff is polite and wiiling to help.by mistake we did some thing wrong, when we made the reservation, nut the staff helped us free of charge and was polite and helpful to our requests.

The breakfast buffet and the decor of the breakfast room. The room upgrade. Thank you Mr Ioannou and the rest of the staff for all they did for us.

The snack/lunch menu. A limited selection.

The breakfast buffet. The room upgrade.

The parking that was allowed in front of the main entrance. Slamming doors at all hours

All is perfect, except the rooms have no soundproof . We could hear the TV (normal volum) and all the discussion from the next room. To get a good night rest is a key thing, especially for a 5-star hotel.

    Very good

For a 5 stars hotel , to charge separately the access to the sauna or having included at breakfast just a tasteless coffee served from a mug, this is not Ok. Instead if you want to drink any other coffee, you have to pay for it.

Pet friendly and the people were very friendly and professional, it had a pet garden

    7CharaPosted on: 4-21-2025

Nice comfortable room! Big breakfast but mass production tastes! Ok prices. Nice big bathroom.

Old building, no chairs and tables or shade for the balcony. On out dates 5 star hotel that covers the overall basic needs but nothing extraordinary

Very comfy bed, complimentary wine a nice touch.Food in The Bistro was excellent.Staff were very friendly.Convenient location, close to motorway.

The floorboards in the room were very creeky, made a lot of noise.Bathroom needed areas, particularly the toilet, de- calcifying, gave the appearance of being dirty, although it wasn't.

    Superb

Cappuccino for breakfast is available at an additional cost.

The front desk manager went over and above to find us a ground floor room as we were travelling with our dog. They even added a couple of bowls and a blanket for her! The next day he greeted her by her name, which was so lovely. The dog park at the back of the hotel is a brilliant idea. For humans, we had a large room, very comfortable beds, large marble-clad bathroom with a bath and all the amenities one would want, including a coffee maker and good Wifi. Breakfast was lavish. Definitely on our 'must stay here' list when next in Ioannina.

    9IlianaPosted on: 2-7-2025

Lovely old world decor, large room, good quality mattress (soft and your body melts into it) and good quality pillows with a choice of high or low profile (you get 2 pillows each), spacious bathroom with heaps of bench space, shower water pressure worked well, TV and WiFi worked fine. The room was warm during the middle of winter. The staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. Large selection for the buffet breakfast and the food was nice. The location is on the route leading back towards Athens which is where we were heading so perfect for us. Drove into town for a nice meal and took us about 20 mins. We loved the free on site parking.

The only negative thing is that the shower screen didn't extend far enough to prevent the water from getting onto the floor and wetting the bath mat so I'd suggest maybe installing a longer piece of glass? Also perhaps send instructions to guests who inform you they have a car and inform them prior to arrival of the best place to park and enter the premises without stairs.

Large breakfast buffet, variety of products, immediate replacement of empty dishes, great bugatsa (traditional greek sweet!)

Some small damages in the bathroom sink.
