Hotel Finca La Mixtura, Restaurant Mélange

Location, interior decor, pool & amazing breakfast. A luxurious, tasteful treat. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

David and Inge are exceptional hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms and decor of the whole building are amazing, David showed us around the main suites, they are all unique and individually designed/decorated to an exceptionally high standard. Inge prepares and cooks every item of food served from locally sourced ingredients. It is a set menu, 4 or 5 courses and her passion for food/cooking truly shines through. She is worthy of a Michelin Star rating.

This is an incredible place to stay. The property is magnificent, the food is outstanding, and the owners are warm, friendly and very helpful. If you enjoy good food then you must have both the breakfast and dinner, all home cooked and often using ingredients from their own gardens. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and toured the local area, with good advice on where to go from the owners. A wonderful relaxing break.

Everything!!! This is an exceptional space! The ambiance is wonderful! The decoration is beautiful, the food is delicious, the beds are wonderful and the hosts are particularly welcoming!!!

There was nothing we didn't like

Mark and Inge have created such a special place here. We stayed there for the second time, and it was another absolutely amazing experience. The rooms are absolutely stunning, with a very comfortable bed and amazing shower. If you have the chance to eat at their restaurant, you won't be disappointed. Inge prepares the most amazing food with out of this world flavours. Every dish is especially handcrafted, with local ingredients wherever possible and totally amazing. This time, we stayed during a rather cold spell, but the whole castle was warm and cozy, and so was our room. Thanks, Inge and Mark, for yet another unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back.

Individually personalized clean and extraordinary rooms. Excellent food in a fantastic environment. Beautiful pool area and very nice owners. Highly recommended.

The hosts were great, the dinner at the restaurant was superb, the room was huge and the attention to detail fantastic. Would happily stay again and for longer!

Everything! This is a gem, a luxurious boutique hotel with a restaurant. The room was spacious with an enormous wonderful bath. The beds very comfortable. The owners have restored this unique building to it fullest potential. Simply impressive. By the way, a large pool area i unfortunately did not have time visit. The breakfast was generous. I am sad I did not have time to stay longer. Would love to come back.Ample space for parking on the property

Was looking for a luxury private castle hotel, with a pool and excellent yet personal service. Mark and Inge surpassed all expectations and were there with me during a life transforming experience.

The room was impeccable—spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail has been thought through with such care, making it the perfect retreat for rest and relaxation. The atmosphere was wonderfully quiet, which added to the peaceful experience, where we had a drink (or several?) outside. Breakfast was a highlight—absolutely perfect! The owners’ attention to detail in every aspect of the meal was clear.

Cannot stay longer

Beautifully renovated property. Loved the comfort of the bed, the pool, large rooms and the surrounding outside areas. Peaceful yet not far from everything. Great hosts, having stayed in many European accommodations we would rate this the best

Quite difficult to find...signs would help

Everything. Mark, Inge and even Peter were the nicest people. They made the stay feel like home, even though it was only for one night during our 13 days trip to Spain. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was truly amazing. Inge are such a sweetheart and again it felt so comfortable being at their place. They gave us very nice recommendations for eating places in Valencia also. The whole place is just such a nice experience ?

Everything was exceptional, beautiful building, rooms and pool. Make sure to book Dinner at the hotel, best food in the area at a very reasonable price.

It’s far (1 hour) from the coast, but a beautiful calm area.

Very nice place. With a lot of taste and dedication renovated. The dinner was excellent and very fine with home grown products, so the breakfast. The 360° view a "must see". If you are in the region, do not miss the place

absolutly stunning place, service and food. a beautiful restored old villa i a lovely peaceful surrounding. the attention to detail is seen in every corner of the propperty, the diner, the rooms, the outside areas as well as the dinner and the breakfast we were served, both in themselves real artworks. Place is run by a lovely and very friendly dutch couple who pay responsible for all the details, the warm atmosphere and the outstanding food. 5 starrs

too short a stay

The star of the show is unquestionably the Restaurant Melange. Dinner comprised thoughtful, creative, regional cuisine that excelled on every level. An excellent and varied winelist and knowlegable sommelier and an introduction to the tasting courses by the Chef completed a very enjoyable dining experience. Definately recommended. The accomodation too is delightful with the finca having undergone a complete resotration, thus everything works and is in great condition.
