We loved our stay here. Peaceful, simple but comfortable. Nice breakfast. The owner was very kind to us and gave a warm welcome. The property is beautiful and a great base for walks or visiting the area.

Lovely place, great for hikers. Friendly and proactive owners. Big shower. Comfortable bed. Sound of river whilst sleeping. Good breakfast, possibility to purchase and heat evening meal. Can provide sandwich for lunch. Friendly large dog (on terrace) that’s like a small bear! Fresh free range eggs for breakfast.

Excellent stay, rooms and bathroom look brand new. Water pressure is amazing.Very comfortable and clear. A great stay in Basque Country.The homemade dishes of the vending machine are great!

Beautiful place. So quiet and beautiful and great beds!! The area is so beautiful and it was such a pleasure spending some time there. The breakfast was very good with fresh warm bread, amazing local salami and eggs from their own hens. Easy drive to Saint Pied De Port. The owner is very friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend.

The property is very clean and pleasant with all the facilities we needed. Fantastic friendly couple running the place, very helpful in every way. Great location, close to nice walks.

the location was charming and easy for hiking. The room was comfortable and a great breakfast. the beat thing about the property was the hosts! when we arrived they prepared a small plate as we hadn’t had lunch. they recommended a great restaurant for dinner and because we were on foot and it was over 30 minutes away, they drove us to it! We very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Everything was closed Monday - Wednesday. So options limited as the restaurant is now shut.

We've stayed many times and it is great to see the hotel has come through Covid unscathed. The family running the hotel are very welcoming and the food is excellent. In particular the traditional french potage (which is difficult to find these days) is highly recommended!. The situation of the hotel is rural and relaxing. One of the many delights is eating out in the terrace under the plain trees.

The property was traditional and very accommodating. The location was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Charming country inn

The restaurant, especially the outside terrace, is the main feature and obviously draws a lot of business from locals. The setting, tucked away in the hills outside Saint-Étienne-de-Baïgorry, is rural and tranquil. The room was simple but had everything needed including a generous sized bathroom.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful 3 days at this hotel and were so impressed by the friendly staff, modern and clean room, delicious food at restaurant and the beautiful and peaceful scenery. I highly recommend this hotel for families. You can even take hikes directly from the hotel. Everyone that worked at the hotel was so friendly and helpful.
