The property itself is perfect. Not a single complaint.

It’s a good walk from downtown and the reception is only until 6PM. I would only come here again if I had a car. It’s not ideal for backpackers taking the train.

Amazing facilities. Apartment equipped with everything. Very clean. Staff was supper nice and helpful. Great breakfast. Fantastic view.

If your on a bike it's quite a hill to climb to get to.

Very friendly staff, both by check-in and at the breakfast. We had a beautiful room with everything one might need for a stay. Totally recommend the hotel to everyone traveling in the area.

Breakfast was on-site and good enough. Nice view from the room.

Check-in was a bit confusing (had we known when we were arriving or had saved the WhatsApp contact ahead of time, it might have gone smoother). Steep climb after a long day of cycling (no fault of theirs)

I like almost everything about this hotel. The location is an uphill walk but you have an exceptional view of the castle, day and night.The staff are friendly and accommodating. Breakfast buffet is wonderful. The rooms are clean, and beds are comfortable to sleep on.It is my second time here and I think if ever I go back to Wernigerode, I'd still choose this hotel. :)

it was okay, but not the same room I booked

I booked another room, and pay for superior room. in photos there was jacuzzi, but in room there was not. room was cold. bedroom was so small and absolutely not the same room. there was not any slippery even for bathroom

It was really clean and beautiful and hosts were so kind and they were able to assist me for my late check in.

Beautifully renovated B&B. Well done! Got an upgraded room with kitchen (did not use it). Peaceful, quiet. Loved it.

Property is in a hilly area. Just a bit steep for walking back, if you go downtown or something.

Magnificent room with a wide bed, large shower, refrigerator, coffee machine and kettle. Own garden area. Friendly staff, good breakfast.

If you are walking, the last meters will require some effort on your part.

The owner was really nice and there was a really nice welcome and we got a lot of information about the city etc. We got bigger apartment than we have booked. There was a really big balcony and the kitchen. It was close to the city center. The breakfast was really nice and we had no problem with choosing something for ourselves.

We could not close the balcony door, because there was no key to do that. There was one key to front door and to our apartment, so everybody, who had the key to the front door, could go in to our apartment without any problem. There was a broken bamboo roller blind in the bedroom, that didn't work properly, so the neighbours could see the inside of our bedroom. The wi-fi signal was quite weak.

distaster! never ever! not hygienic! do not use whirpool!

I am super dissapointed and pissed we have booked this accomodation! We have booked this accomodation because of private whirpool in the bathroom. But it seems they are not cleaning it properly! When we start up the whirpool the dirt came out of the whirpool!! when we have informed the owner she did not even say sorry! not even talking about any compensation! When we were leaving she pretended to not see us and ignored us completely! I would not ever recommend this accomodation! Plus the water in the shower and in the sink was not going away quick enogh so when you are shovering you are standing in big puddle!

The property was perfect for families or if your travelling alone. Our room was excellent for myself and my 6 year old. The apartment was fully equipped with a little compact kitchen, oven, fridge, table and chairs. No sofa to sit on just the chairs.

Good & nicely looking appartment with everything you might need, good breakfast, amazing view.

Check-in was a bit messed up (partly from our side), but that's probably not a general problem.

The treatment of the personal. Everything súper Quick. No explanation regarding the breakfast. Every time you would ask him something you had the impression you were disturbing.

The breakfast was ok, thoug no glutenfree options. Great location and view.Free bus travel tickets.Nice room and bathroom. Peaceful neighbourhood.

There could have been glutenfree options for the breakfast. At least at day two, when staff was informed and meanwhile could have bought som gf bread. We got a hand drawn map that was hard to read.

A very unusual place! We had a room where the windows overlooked the castle! Varied breakfast, you can have breakfast outside if the weather is nice

the place is on the heel. if you are walking, it might be a small struggle to climb. the castle view worth a struggle for sure.Poor communication. I didn't manage to find out how to turn off a lamp in the room. Whatsapp message about it was read but not answered.

The breakfast is good. The room is very clean and stuffs are very friendly.

Curtains do not block light, the sun light weak me up at 5 am these day. The sound insulation of the room is very bad. The sound of birds is very noise during the morning.
