Hotel Gasthof Goldener Hahn

Clean, spacious, friendly staff, excellent breakfast and service like coffee to go. Also restaurant on site, so perfect for an easy break on a longer journey. Close to the motorway but peaceful setting too.

Great hotel, the owners and the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious. For the first time in all the years I travel I was suggested a coffee "to go" for my trip without any fee! That was a pleasant surprise! Definitely recommended!

The location was great. The room was clean and well stocked.

The hostess, in front of all the guests started loudly claiming I didn’t pay enough for the room. That it was also not correct that I was having breakfast with my children while I supposedly only paid for two meals… I in fact DID pay enough and showed her later on. She purposely made a stink in front of all the other clients because I seated myself and my children in the breakfast room for lack of her presence. I am healing of a cancer and had to sit down and my children were hungry. We meant to offend no one but I suspect my decision caused the scene… she later made it up by offering extra drinks for the children and myself to go.

I arrived at midnight, key would be in a locker. I had a code... All well, but the locker didn't work... and the phone number didn't answer ==> I spent 1h30 to wait and find another hotel in the middle of the night. & Refund not received after 14 days.... I phoned the day after, but no answer after taking up the phone. (only silence after my complaint);I had booked for 2 nights and stayed then only for 1 night. The hotel itself is ok, but my nightly experience was extremely negative, as was the lack of communication and the non refund.

Very close to IHP, there is a decent restaurant, easy access from highway, very efficient. And they have bunnies in the garden.

Not really a touristic region, it is a practical stopover point and like me if you have business in the area

Close to, but far enough from the main highway. Fantastic breakfast, friendly, helpful staff. Made traveling across Europe with a 3-month old baby a bit easier.

Hotel has two buildings. In one building hotel had issues with wifi. They offered room in another building with properly working internet. New room was more comfortable and bigger. I think it was good deal for me

The hotel is beautiful and clean. The parking area is spacious. The room is large, quiet, and comfortable

When I booked the room, I specifically requested Internet access in the room. Upon arrival, the receptionist handed me the room key along with the Wi-Fi password.However, once I entered the room, my computer kept showing that the password was incorrect, and I couldn’t connect to the Internet. When I went to the reception desk, the staff informed me that I had to go down to the lobby to use the Internet.I asked why I needed to be in the lobby to access the Internet when the hotel advertised having Internet as an amenity. The staff explained that it was because the Internet provided was free of charge.Cuối cùng thì tất cả chúng tôi đều phải dùng mạng 4G từ điện thoại đi động thay cho mạng wifi của khách sạn. At 8:30 PM, I went to the hotel’s restaurant to order dinner. However, the staff told me that service had already ended, even though the hotel’s notice stated that the restaurant closes at 9:00 PM.

This is not the first time here for me. Clean room, very convenient location, good breakfast.

Great location, nice and peaceful, comfy beds, carpet needs changing as quite dated. Other than that we were happy with our stay. Would recommend to anyone not too fussy and after a good night sleep

Staff extreemly unfriendly. Made a reservation bu mistake and asked kindly to cancel free of charge explaining what gas happened, but received rude questionmarks alone. Sad there are such unfriendly hosts.

Comfy beds, nice staff

No fridge in room. There was a smoking area right in front of my windows. I slept w the windows open as there is no Azc, and when someone smoked outside, the smoke came into my room.
