Palais am Kleistpark

NO central air conditioning!!!!!

A nice "old fashion" hotel with classical interiors, and it is facing a huge, green park (Kleistpark). Located quite centrally in Frankfurt/Oder, with a walking distance to the local transportation, trams; to the city center as well as the train station.

No fridge, teapot, cups, etc. in the room.Breakfast was kinda overpriced 15Euro per person (which is equivalent of lunch elsewhere in Frankfurt/Oder)

Reception is closed after 10 pm. I was not able to check in at the first day, And then they forgot to give me a key from the back door, I was very lucky that there was a staff member occasionally who opened the door. Also, the hotel is a bit old, there is an unpleasant smell in the room. The shower is warming very long. Lift is not always working. Better to choose another place, if you are do not need to economize so much.

The staff are friendly.

Rooms on the street side are loud due to the trams. The hotel charges for pet of Euro 25 per night is exorbitant and unreasonable. We were not told that the main doors to the hotel are locked after midnight, and the staff forgot to give us a night entrance key.

Was very hard to find a taxi to pick us up from hotel to airport. No bar cant get drinks tea ect only breakfast time

It was very silent and clean property. Also walking distance to the city center as well as the train station.

Breakfast was really amazing and delicious. Room was spacious with beautiful furniture. Lovely and helpful staff!

The pillows were not comfortable for me at all. I wish that room had fridge, teapot and cups.

We arrived late (22:00), staff waited for us and were pleasant, breakfast was awesome for 13eu per person, so tasty and had a lot of options, hotel was nice, good location and promising.

Room looks like a bit old fashioned, but toilet... oh boy.. looks like from a White House..

The breakfast was excellent. Good strong coffee !! Monika was so friendly and helpful. The grounds were gorgeous.

The pillow was a bit too soft but the mattress was very comfortable
