Rhein-Hotel

Location is on the Rhine river, about 8 min walk to old town. Beautiful old hotel right next to the old city gate. Highly recommend. The owners, Freit and Nicol are great and make the best breakfast.

Nothing. Have stayed there for the last 3 years. Will be staying there again in 2026.

It was very clean,perfect spot for the view and walking. The history is amazing and architecture is amazing! Perfect shops!Owners were so very nice!

Overall, it was a good hotel, but the following stood out to me:- The staff's attitude was genuinely excellent, very kind and respectful.- I'm really grateful to them.- The room and facilities were very clean.- There was no noise from outside, and the area was very quiet at night.

**The only downside for me was:**- The toilet was separated from the bathroom and the handwashing area. It seemed like it had been added from the end of the hallway into the room, and unfortunately, it didn't have good ventilation, so the smell would spread into the room.

The staff there is super nice! He was so helpful and kind.

The room does not have a „do not disturb“ sign and internet connection was not available to some area in a room.

i was there quite early, and my room wasn't ready, which is obviously. but the reception man gave me another room, and i could start a work. there was breakfast, included in price. location is cool: it is almost the city center

all the facilities were old. the breakfast was ending way too early. there is no place in "bathroom". if you sit on the toilet, your legs are abuting the door. i can't imagine how incovinient it could be if I'd be taller or bigger. to take a shower it have to wait up to ten minutes to get a hot water.

The room was spacious and modern furnished. The toilet was separated from the bathroom. The room was extremely clean. The balcony was facing the river , with its walking area. The location was good, Many restaurants around. A small walk from a nice historical center. Parking in front the hotel 0,80 cents per hour, free parking from 19 hrs everyday, including Sunday and Holidays. However the parking space is small.

In the booking reservation breakfast was optional to book at the hotel. However the hotel did not accept this option.We were told that since the reservation did not include the breakfast, breakfast on demand option was not possible. That was rather unusual and surprising.

Lovely location on the river Rhein. Very nice clean room. A good breakfast was served in the morning. The owners kindly let us leave our bags for a few hours whilst we went for a walk in the city.

The amount of space in the toilet and shower room could be a bit better,

Nothing too bad about anything

The maîtrede was very welcoming, and made our stay very enjoyable.

More fruit available for breakfast would have been good
