Hotel Mercure Paris Ouest Saint-Germain

Lovely surrounding atmosphere but staff was unkind, rooms were not very clean but full of perfume

Staff was very unkind

Great staff, good location. Dated, could be better cleaning and access to food and drinks.

Staff

Excellent location, close to RER and Tram making it accessible to commute to Versailles and Paris, in addition to interesting sites to visit in Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Nice rooms and helpful staff. Attractive and peaceful grounds.

Lighting could be improved near the clothes closet.

Location

Needs upgrade, poor lighting to rooms out back. Not very secure for solo female traveller. Cleanliness of rooms questionable. Restaurant good but limited menu

LocationRoom

Slow booking inRestricted menu for dinner

The room was large with a huge bed and spotlessly clean. The hotel looks old from the outside but is very modern inside. The breakfast is great value for money.

We arrived at 1230 and the receptionist offered us an early check in for €50 per room or we could wait until 1400. If the room was ready it would have been great customer service to let us check in early for free or charged a nominal €10. Also the parking was like a bog so made your shoes very muddy.

The rooms, location and buffet breakfast

It was all good

Very friendly and helpful staff.Good restaurant for breakfast buffet and dinner

Great location

Only average breakfast, overall the hotel needs updating. The bedroom was ok.

Very well located, easy to park. Excellent breakfast and the staff is really friendly, flexible and kind.

Well located and rooms in separate area is practical.

No real facilities to work (table in the room is very small) and no coffee available apart from breakfast. Expensive for the comfort and facilities.

The friendly Staff, willing to accommodate me and assist whenever needed. Beautiful area and surrounding sights. close to my customer - location is great.. easy walk to amenities

Good location; privileged rooms were a good size; comfortable bed; good breakfast choice

The room and the bathroom were quite spacious. There was a bathtub. The room was in the rare part of the hotel, so there was relative silence.

The curtains were quite gray, you could see that they had not been washed for a long time. The room was cleaned but not sufficiently as there was trash on the carpet from the previous day.

very good location

Breakfast average. Got bed bugs bites.

Friendly welcome at this excellent branch of Mercure. It’s in a great location - we were using it as a break of our long journey from south to north but I wish we’d stayed an extra night as the area and the hotel were so nice. Breakfast spread was excellent and the room was super comfy. All in all a good stay. Thank you.

It was clean. It was close to the station

Air conditioner made an annoying noise orecebting me from sleeping. Staff discharged me after checkout for breakfasts I did not have etc. They charged me an expensive tax that booking had not told me about.

The location was very good, staff were friendly and the room was clean the bed was comfortable.

The selection of food in the restaurant could have been better in the evening

Location. There is such a nice park and castle nearby. So many plants in the hotel, fresh air, and birds singing all the time. The staff was quite nice, but only 1 spoke English, if I didn't speak French it would be so difficult to explain smth.

The toilet was dirty, there was some smell even after cleaning. I wouldn't say I liked that the forks were dirty in the restaurant. The bed is more or less fine, but not the most comfy. In general, this service doesn't correspond to your price.

Location and friendly staff

Room windows open to ugly roof with tin/metal chimneys - not something you look forward to when you want to stay for 4 nights and took 2 rooms of which one was a privilige room. The rooms in general are dark and somber
