Villa Cavalieri is so wonderful!! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Due to my own errors in scheduling, we accidentally arrived the day before our stay was supposed to begin, but immediately, the man working the front desk (I've sadly forgotten his name) worked on finding a way to accommodate us anyway and was so reassuring when I felt so bad about my mistake. He and every other staffer we interacted with made us feel so welcome and at home for our whole time there. The hotel itself was also gorgeous! We loved our room, the courtyard, the breakfast area/restaurant, & run-ins with the peacock :) The location was so peaceful and tranquil, while still a quick drive from Pula, where there were a lot of great shops and restaurants, and from many beautiful beaches. My partner is also a runner and greatly enjoyed the area around the hotel for his runs--the road it was on continued straight up a nearby mountain and offered gorgeous views. We're so grateful to the folks at this hotel for helping make our vacation so special, and hope to come back and stay here again!

I was given a horrible dark room full of mosquitoes upon arrival, then had to hang around and wait while they decided whether they could put me elsewhere.

Everything is very nice, rooms, terraces, place for breakfast, garden. Perfect sport. Excellent breakfast.

Its an amazing place like a small paradise. Perfect breakfast, elegant snd big rooms, super beds.

Hotel was extremely pleasant. Everything was clean, tidy and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and had a rich selection. We used the restaurant for dinner and the food was delicious.

The Hotel is beautiful, the whole place is absolutely stunning. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were really nice and clean, and very spacious.The breakfast which is included is great, we also had dinner the first night in the Donna Tonna restaurant and it is a must try! Amazing food!Highly recommmend the hotel, wish we could have stayed more!

This is my lowest review score I have ever given here on booking. And I would go even lower if the hotel would not somewhat rectify the situation. What happened - they have very nice pictures of rooms here on booking - actually pretty pictures of all hotel, but the reality was not what is presented here. We were given a room (No.105 - avoid this one at all cost), which looked nothing like on the pictures. The only window was the doors, so the room was dark even through the day and we had to turn the lights on during the day. Deep cracks in the walls, bathroom doors were difficult to close, because the humidity was widening door frame. We felt like in basement. The patio was joke - one bench with umbrella so the pigeons won't shit on you, but the umbrella was covered with pigeon shit. Also promised garden view was actually closed paved yard with plants - kind of nice, but not a garden. The garden surrounding the hotel was not maintained at all - grass was brown, it looked more like sahara desert than garden in 4* hotel. We complained at reception and after heated discussion with lady (probably from management) we were given different room, that was ok. The lady from management had really pissing us of attitude. Never ever experienced this anywhere else - that includes my travels in India and China. Among other things, she told us that it is not possible to take pictures of all rooms they have, even though there are better and worse rooms. Which is really bullshit argument as other hotels have no problem with this and have even more rooms. I recommend to the hotel to keep this lady away from paying customers. Next topic - restaurant. Food is good. But the service is so understaffed. So many tables in large area and only two people doing the service. They were literary running all the time and still, it took almost 2 hours to get through main meal and desert. We saw other guests leaving after first course, because of the long waiting.

We loved our four-day stay at Villa Cavalieri! The location is perfect—just a 10-minute drive from the beautiful Nora Beach and 30 minutes from the city of Cagliari, all while being nestled in the peaceful countryside. The setting is tranquil and relaxing. We found it a good compromise being a short distance from the city and stunning beaches. The on-site restaurant is really good, offering delicious local cuisine with a selection of regional wines that really complement the meals.

Getting there without a car would probably be difficult

Wonderful place. The environment is lovely. Great facilities (swimming pool, sauna, etc). We ended our night with some peacock’s sounds.

The garden of the establishment could be more maintained. The service at the restaurant wasn’t at the level that we expected at all. We did wait for a long tine only to order some food and drinks. At the end, nobody came at our table to get the plates and ask if we wanted a dessert. So, after waiting 30 minutes for a waiter to come, we just left the table.

Beautiful place to stay. Great location. Relaxing grounds. Found a nice quiet shady area under trees to do my yoga. Super clean. More than friendly staff. Delicious food in Donna Tona restaurant with decent portion sizes. Breakfast to die for. Every conceivable cake! Pastries, meats, cheese, fruit... absolutely superb. Saw the sheep passing with their bells and beautiful resident peacock. We hope to be back.

This is an ideal spot if you want access to the sights of Cagliari and to the excellent beaches to its south. Excellent food (breakfast and dinner) in a beautiful courtyard setting. Very comfortable rooms and facilities. Very warm welcome from Valentino and his colleagues with helpful advice of travelling to Cagliari and to the beaches.

The silver man statue at the entrance was a bit out of place ;)

Very nice hotel just a few kilometres away from a charming small town, Pula with nice restaurants. It is calm, the breakfast is great and abundant and there is also a nice restaurant inside. There was even a nice surprise to see they have a beautiful pool in the hotel for all guests, not yet added to Booking.com pictures (attached here). The staff was nice and supportive (lent us an umbrella for the beach for example). There was a nice & big balcony / terrace included to the room. This we shared with “Paul”, the peacock that slept there every night. It was loud only one morning, otherwise a very cool addition to our stay.
