    • The castle is amazing, the room is very spacious, the staff is attentive, and the breakfast is a good value
    • We had a beautiful 4 day stay at the Castello. The staff helped us with everything we needed. Robert was absolutely amazing and provided suggestions and even called restaurants to make reservations for us. The hotel is super relaxing and never too full. The dinner spot was amazing. They even provided much needed mosquito spray at dinner. Breakfast was also great and offered a good selection.
    • An actual castle within an hour from Milan and Malpensa. The place is an actual stunning castle that turned into a hotel. The castle is very well maintained as well as the beautiful gardens around it. We also ate at the hotel restaurant (bistro) that serves amazing food (in my opinion the best we ate while visiting Italy). Would definitely come back.

    Cons -

    • The staff could have been more knowledgeable about the castle's history :)
    • There could be more vegetarian/vegan options for lunch and dinner. The gym is currently closed.
    • nothing else than I wish my husband was with me !

This castle was stunning. I had to find a stop during my road trip from aosta to tuscany and decided to book this hotel kind of randomly but it turned out to be just amazing. The restaurant Dama was so good I absolutely recommend! And the staff was so friendly and welcoming.

nothing else than I wish my husband was with me !

Peaceful setting, historic atmosphere, great breakfast.

The lock on the door was hard to lock and open. The entrance was hard to find.

    10CarmenPosted on: 2-2-2025

The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated with very nice view over the garden. Breakfast was very good. Overall, I highly recommended this place> I will definitely return :-)

Location is wonderful. Staff very nice and the poll really a plus.

Bathroom was old and paint falling off the wall, especially near the faucet where humidity damaged the wall

The outdoor spaces were quite nice, and the view from the bistro onto the courtyard was lovely.

The rooms were rundown and a bit depressing. Dinner at the bistro was overpriced, and with the exception of the bread and an appetizer, it was not particularly good. For winter, the common areas are wanting and particularly necessary given the rooms.

Amazing location and very clean rooms.

    - The rooms are very, very thin-walled. You can hear conversations from your neighbour. - My bed headboard shook every time I turned round in bed. - The "breakfast" which is included is just a croissant, coffee and fruit juice from the bottle, that's it!

Classical place with great foods in the restuarant. dinner & breakfast is fantastic. Friendly staffs and supportive. A moment in the garden in the morning is wonderful ?

I recently stayed at a beautiful castle hotel in the countryside of northern Italy. The architecture and surroundings were truly breathtaking, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The staff, for the most part, were exceptionally kind and attentive, especially those serving breakfast. The breakfast itself was delightful, with a variety of local delicacies that added a special touch to each morning.Overall, staying at this castle is a unique experience, perfect for those looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of northern Italy. With a few updates and a consistent level of hospitality, it could truly become an exceptional getaway.

There are a few areas where the hotel could improve. The rooms, although charming, could benefit from an update. The bedding felt outdated, and a refresh would make the stay much more comfortable. Additionally, the gym was under maintenance during my visit, which was disappointing for guests wanting to use it.Lastly, the receptionist, an older gentleman, could have been more welcoming. His demeanor didn't quite match the warmth of the other staff members, which was surprising

Impressive castle, really nice and friendly staff.

The room wasn't very clean. There were spider webs in the ceiling. I guess cause ceilings are high and hard to clean. Location is in a very calm place , but not much to see in walking distance.

Nice place, stuff really great : reception, breakfast or bar or restaurant. Pool.

Check out at 11. 00 ;) and not possible to have dinner at the place because of some event. Nothing to see around

Excellent restaurant, nice rooms, good breakfast

Want to feel like a queen and king? Stay in this castle. Huge room, so regal, high ceilings. Stunning grounds. Staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. But the magnificence is the property itself. Wish I could spend a night in each of the rooms.

Not the easiest place to find, but well worth the extra effort

Amazing place, friendly staff. Clean room, definetely worth visit.

Very attractive hotel with great facilities.Beautiful grounds. We had a superb taster menu meal in the restaurant Great selection for breakfastWill be 100% booking it again next year

The quality of the bed and mattress was not to the standard you would expect from such a good hotel.

    7MikePosted on: 8-19-2024

    The luxury of the rooms.

The internet is very poor and the staff are not up to the standard of the hotel and dishonest when it comes to payment! 2 times now I was asked to pay upon checkout when actually I had paid before arrival through booking dot com.

We were looking for somewhere to stay for 2 nights between the coast and Milan and luckily found this place. For the amount we payed it's the best Hotel I've stayed in!An incredible building with beautiful architecture, the way they have added to the castle with glass corridors and the pool creates a perfect mix of old and new. Our room was really large and had a great view of the gardens that surround the building. The restaurant is insanely good and worthy of a review in itself. If you've found this hotel on booking.com, it's an absolute gem and worth a visit - best of all is the staff who were more than helpful and even gave us a lift back to the train station!

    8OfirPosted on: 8-13-2024

The castle was lovely, full of charm and character. Breakfast was satisfying.

The hotel needs maintenance. Air-condition was old and weak. It seems they were short of staff, though the staff existed did their best.
