Dorint Hotel Düren

Nice, modern and stylish hotel, very well located. Breakfast was diverse and tasty. Reception stuff friendly and helpful. Underground parking place with EV charger was a big plus for us.

The breakfast was great! Really one of the top five hotel breakfasts I've experienced. I would add croissants to the bread selection and find a way to keep the juices cold. Other than that, good stuff. I also like the firmness of the bed, the spaciousness of the shower, and the air conditioning (when the outside temps allowed for its operation). The bar/restaurant area was really nice and the bartender (I did not get his name) was super friendly and attentive. Great staff all around.

The pillows... WAY too soft. Please get some firmer pillows. Thankfully, the outside temps weren't that high. So,I could open the window when the air conditioner stopped working due to the low(er) outside temps. I know you're trying to save on your electric bill but... I'm a hot sleeper and the ability to use the air conditioner at night could have resulted in better sleep for me.

Housekeeping keyed into the room before checkout time without knocking! We told the front desk and they apologized, but definitely not something you want happening when you are not dressed.

Very nice and modern hotel, on the edge of the town centre. Good breakfast and modern rooms.

The bathrooom section of the room was only seperated by a partial glass wall, so if during the night one had to use the bathroom a lot of light was shining into the sleeping area. Very modern but not well tought of. It should be possible to just put on the light in the toilet not in the whole bahroom area. The rest was very good

The toilet wasn’t isolated, so the noises and the smells could’ve been very disturbing

The hotel is centrally located in Duren and was close to everything we needed access to including the train station and the central square.

Room design is unique - bathroom shower loved it. Restaurant looks fancy.

The location, more like the area was a bit dirty / trash everywhere. Garage good but would be better if its complimentary. Elevator partially worked.

Private hotel parking was 22 euro per day/night. Electric car charging is 15 euro's + 22 euro parking cost.

Comfortable room, clean, modern

Great rooms, nice location, walking distance from the train station, and nice shops and restaurants within walking distance. Free parking in the area in the evenings.

There was no kettle in the room. I took a chance and was able to borrow a kettle from reception! We reserved a double room with a double bed. The bed was a double size. However, it was two mattresses side by side which isn't the most comfortable if you move around or want to cuddle. (Had I known, I might have reserved a larger bed with one larger mattress.)

A pity the maitre d' of the restaurant was concentrating on larger/ corporate parties and was very rude to us! Such a shame as the other waiters, reception staff, cleaners all so helpful and friendly. Room with balcony overlooking the park was lovely. Excellent breakfast and staff in the mornings. Pity one person spoilt an otherwise lovely stay!

A pity the maitre d' of the restaurant was concentrating on larger/ corporate parties and they were her priority. More organisation with putting reservation signs on tables would be helpful rather than being asked to leave a table on two occasions as they were reserved but had no sign to say so. Felt second class!

Very nice place. Room is big and clean.Good position to visit Cologne, the train station is 5 minutes away.Breakfast was fantastic, great choice and quality.There is a lot of care about the environment: for example there is nothing single-use in this hotel, only the cups you use for honey or jam, and event they are edible!

The garage is nice and safe, but very expensive, 22€/day. You better find another place to park the car.There was 3 of us. The main bed was fantastic, but the 2nd one (for the kid) was very very uncomfortable.

The rooms were large and very nice. The restaurant was very good.

The parking was not good, not enough spaces.
