    Pros +

    • Clean, comfortable, pleasant and friendly staff
    • Nice place! Clean and comfortable! Very quiet! Close to Bolzano and goodPlace to explore Val Gardena from.
    • Fun location. Great restaurant.

    Cons -

    • The rooms had no ac and were very hot and uncomfortable in the unusually hot weather.
    • The room was very warm even with the heating off and window open. There is also a very loud dog at a nearby property that barked on and off through the night and woke us up a few times. Nothing too major though…sounds of the countryside.
    • We had three people stay in the room, the extra 'bed' was a couch that had no extra linen apart from the blanket (with no coverall). Also, the bathroom floor had tiling that with water on it became very slippery.

The hotel is lovely and fees very peaceful. The rooms are lovely and the beds are unbelievably comfortable. The view from the balcony is beautiful. We ate at the hotel restaurant both evenings. The food was delicious and good value. It was easy to get to from Bolzano; the 180 bus stops right outside and runs hourly.

The room was very warm even with the heating off and window open. There is also a very loud dog at a nearby property that barked on and off through the night and woke us up a few times. Nothing too major though…sounds of the countryside.

The hotel was really cozy. Yes, it was right at the road, but we had a room overlooking the backyard with the river flowing so you could not really hear the traffic when you had balcony door opened. The balcony was big. The staff was friendly, fluent in Italian and Germany, knew a bit English. We also ate dinner at the restaurant and I was really amazed, it was light, cozy, the selection was quite big + tasted well. What's more, the portions were big + you got to have free fresh salad (8 different components). The prices were reasonable, compared to some locations even cheap when considering the sizes.

We had three people stay in the room, the extra 'bed' was a couch that had no extra linen apart from the blanket (with no coverall). Also, the bathroom floor had tiling that with water on it became very slippery.

The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was really good! Location was nice but not the best.

I really think they need to work on the service, otherwise it was a nice stay.

    Private parking. Restaurant is ok.

Bugs (I knew that we are in the mountain but still..)

Beautiful house close to the mountains, easy access to nearby lifts, also using local buses. The room was functional and clean, and there's a good restaurant downstairs. Thank you for helping with our extra luggage!

The sauna was quite good, the breakfast was decent. The restaurant food we had for dinner was super nice and the staff was very polite and helpful!

    No complains.

The location is amazing - peaceful and quiet with the sound of the river. The parking available in front of the hotel. Spacious balconies.

Staff is very unprofessional and borderline rude. They forget your orders at the restaurant, don’t greet you, don’t respond to your requests. They also do not care for upholding some house rules - e.g. other guests being loud well past midnight - if you make a noise complaint they will do nothing about it. The noise is very problematic as it’s such a serene landscape around the property.

The breakfast and the dinner from the restaurant were delicious. The staff was nice and they provided us with a fan when we asked for one. The view is beautiful and the sound of the river acts as a white noise machine.

    The room wasn't 100%clean

The view from the balcony in our room was amazing! The restaurant had really nice tasting pizzas (with almost an abundance of different choices). Friendly and intimate feeling overall, and very clean and fresh room.

We sometimes struggled with communication with the personnel, but we got by with a mix of a few german and italian words, which was absolutely understandable given our location :)

It was cute, there was free parking and the breakfast was good. The Sacher was especially good.

The only thing is that we didn’t have a bidet. Some of our friends had them tho. So some rooms have them and some don’t. Some people were parking their vehicles in the middle of two parking spaces. Therefore we had to go to another place to park. This had nothing to do with the hotel ofc but I’d suggest you keep an eye out for the parking area because’ my friends that stayed in the hotel for 3 nights told me that it was happening every day.

Excellent breakfast, great hotel. Perfect location, beds are hard but oke. Good hygene, overall 8+

It’s in the mountains and a creek, it’s a bit nosy (you’ll get used to it, and with windows closed all good!) but very beautiful!

    7FrankPosted on: 7-18-2024

I like the bed, the bathroom and bar downstairs.

I like to eat breakfast 7.00 every day, but I waited until 8.00, and still I did not see anyone from the staff. Maybe the breakfast starts 9 or 10? But then I was eating my breakfast in a gas station.

Staff were very nice, specially Umaima she treated us with kindness and she was very welcoming. We are very thankful to her.

The room was small. Everything was clean except for the sofa in the room was a bit smelly. For the location, the hotel is isolated, no village or surrounding to spend some time in there.

    8RichardPosted on: 6-26-2024

We had low expectations but were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. We had a quiet airy room overlooking plenty of greenery (after asking to be moved from a room alongside the road that was too noisy). The dinner was excellent, with large portions. The fresh salad bar was a most welcome addition. Breakfast also was very good. The hotel has a spacious riverside terrace for outdoor eating and drinking, although the weather was too cold to make use of it during our stay. Car parking is directly in front of the hotel, with plenty of space available.

Staff speak little or no English although the owner can help out.Internet didn't work in our room (signal too weak because of distance from router), although it was fine in the dining room and bar.

Located a bit away from the city, overlooking the Alps it's located in a great place. Hotel restaurant is great and breakfast is fine.
